A stunning Private Villa Located on the dunes of Shela village. Ideal for our special guests to spend a quality&private time with their friends or family away from the village. The villa comes with a private chef to spoil you with delicious meals during your stay. Grocery is NOT included (you pay only for what you eat). Guests less than 5, can have a discount in order to have the chance to enjoy Kilele House. You are most welcome to your new home in Shela, Lamu island. Karibuni sana. At Kilele house you will be able to relax fully, get lulled by the sea breeze, spoiled by the chef with great meals, pampered with massages (upon request, extra fees requested) and yoga (privately and upon request for an extra fee). This villa has been build in 2022 on a hill just behind the 12kms long pristine white sand beach. I am Rama, t and its activities can be organized while you are here... All sort of beach sports such as sailing, swimming, snorkelling, running, windsurfing, wakeboarding, waterskiing or fishing are possible upon request (must be reserved in advance and are NOT included in the price. Extra fees apply). From the Villa you can easily reach the beach or the village with the Polaris car (not allowed in the village. No cars at all are allowed. Only donkeys and pedestrians). If you want, we can help you arrange all sort of activities, trips, tours or transportation, like a tour with a professional guide to discover Lamu Old Town, a Unesco World Heritage Site, and local experiences at Shela Village in order to get to know the rich Swahili culture (i.e. cooking classes). The village has a very welcoming atmosphere and the locals are very friendly. You can use the Polaris (unless there is a problem with the engine or it's being repaired, something we cannot know in advance) to go around (with our designated driver) to go to the beach or to have a picnic on the sand at the edge of the island. If you have any question, just ask! Guests can use the whole house , including the pool and the Polaris car. Big space available for kids to play on the white sand. The whole of Kilele House and the compound is yours :) Included in your stay: - Chef Cook, cleaning, laundry, night guard - Our ground manager will assist you whenever you want to organize any extra activity - Wifi Internet Access - The Polaris car, to access the beach of Shela or Shela village (until allowed). The staff, the manager and Rama, the owner, will be available whenever help is needed; you will have the telephone number to contact them in case they are not around when you need them. There is a Polaris car available to use for the guests. Late check out is possible, if no other guests is checking in on that same day/time, for an extra fee of 200 $ up to 4 people. 95 per person for each extra person from 5 people on.
