Located in the lovely rolling hills of Historic Clifton, this very roomy space is 5 minutes from the quaint historic downtown. 8 minutes from a winery in the hills, a few minutes from biking and hiking, and can kayak at the wonderful Historic Occoquan district. 30 minutes from the heart of DC (not rush hour) or stay in the quiet apartment on the 5 acre estate. Bed linens, blankets, and towels provided. So relax. Only neighbors that may stop by to visit are the deer, fox, or rare owl. Enjoy! The space You’ll have the entire basement apartment to yourself. It has its own private entrance. There is one enormous and private primary bedroom (queen bed) with a large walk-in closet. The remainder of the space is open concept between the large living area, spacious dining area, and the roomy kitchen. The couch in the main living area is a very comfortable pull out couch that is queen sized. You will find the entirety of the space about 800 ft.² and you’ll truly have plenty of room to stretch out and relax. This private basement apartment is very spacious at about 800 ft.², not shared with anyone, and you will have it all to yourself. There is a very small apartment sized washer and dryer in the utility space, free of charge. Just bring detergent. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator and sink, with plenty of cabinet space and stone countertops. It has a microwave, a two burner cooktop, and a small all in one oven. There is free Wi-Fi if you need Internet, and a TV (connected to Apple TV) for something to watch if you are not out hiking, and having adventures. Guest access We will make ourselves available for your arrival time and hand you the key in person. We will talk about the rules and the very few chores that we have before your departure. Chores are also listed on the booklet on the work desk. We also have a lockbox by the sliding door if we cannot meet in person. We typically send the address and lockbox code a few days prior to check in.
