Welcome to peace and quiet! This bay front lodge has three large queen bedrooms and a full-length deck overlooking the water where birds gather all day long. A tall great room allows your group to gather together while enjoying the luxury of thick carpets, a large comfortable couch and a fully stocked kitchen. The bedrooms all have high quality mattresses with down duvets and four pillows per bed. An extensive game room has a pool table, a 56” 4K TV, and a game table to gather after dark. The space The natural beauty of this location is relaxing and wonderful. All day long you can watch birds land on the water, the changing clouds reflected on the bay, and the surrounding greenery. It's such a quiet space that you find your shoulders relaxing and you can revel in the beauty of this space. It is the perfect place if you love nature, beaches, birds, and kayaking. With three queen rooms, this is a perfect house for three couples, a family gathering, a girls weekend, or a group of friends. Upstairs are two queen bedrooms that share a full bathroom with tub. Downstairs the master has a full en suite shower bathroom. A separate half bath provides a third bathroom for everyone downstairs. During the day we love hikes on the beach and have provided 3 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, and sit-down pedalboat that seats 4 for your use on the shallow bay. (The bay is salt water and too shallow for swimming.) It's about an hour kayaking around the bay with blue herons, snow geese, ducks, cormorants and more flying overhead. The private beach is just a 5-minute drive to other side of the bay to a tidal beach on the Puget Sound where you can walk, collect shells, and stack driftwood shelters. On the beach you can collect clam shells, agates, red jaspers and your favor color of beach stones. Watch the tides for a low tide to locate especially good finds! The beach is also the perfect place for watching the sunset. We've provided some camp chairs and a bucket for beach adventures, but we recommend you bring your rubber boots for exploring. Once you've explored our beach, there are four other beach parks within a 15 minute drive, each one a bit different. If it's raining, the perfect place to gather is in the living room. Use the remote to turn on the gas fireplace and play games and puzzles while you watch the birds on the water and the clouds in the sky. The weather changes often, so it may only be an hour until the sun is out again. Alternatively you may want to join in the game room. The arcade game with 12 game choices might be just your thing. The high quality pool table with straight sticks provides the perfect setting for a little competition. There is a game table and a stack of our favorite games and puzzles for all ages. If you just want to relax, curl up in front of the 54" TV with a swivel mount and seating for six people. We are streaming Netflix, HBO, and Amazon Prime along with access to online services such as YouTube. After dark you can build a fire in the Solo stove (no smoke in your eyes!) on the waterfront with six Adirondack chairs for lounging and long conversations. Firewood provided! Up for going into town? It's a 15-minute drive to the nearest grocery store, coffee shop, pizza takeout, and two Mexican restaurants. Whatever you choose to do, know that we've outfitted this house with you in mind. The kitchen is stocked, the beds are amazing, blackout curtains let you sleep late, and we've even included binoculars for watching and identifying the birds. Enjoy! We’re excited to provide you with stable and sturdy water toys (for example: kayaks, paddleboards, pedalboat, dock and water) to enjoy the bay, but please know that the use of the water and the water toys is at your own risk. WATER WAIVER AND RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK ("Waiver & Release") In utilizing the bay and the water amenities such as the kayaks, paddleboards, pedalboat, dock and any activities on the water ("Water"), you will be expressly assuming the risk, legal liability, waiver, and release of all claims for injuries, damages, loss or death which you, your family members, guests, invitees and licensees (collectively, "Bay Area Users") might sustain as a result of utilizing any and all amenities connected with and associated with the water. I and the Bay Area Users agree to abide with the rules of the water ("Water Rules"). I understand that landlord, its officials, owners, agents, employees, volunteers and representatives (collectively, "Landlord") retain the right to restrict access to the water for the failure of any person to comply with the water rules. WARNING! THERE ARE OBVIOUS KNOWN DANGERS INHERENT IN WATER ACTIVITIES. FOR EXAMPLE: PHYSICAL INJURY, AND IN SOME CASES, DEATH. 1. INDEMNIFICATION AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY In exchange for the landlord allowing me to voluntarily utilize the water, I understand and agree to: ASSUME AND ACCEPT ALL RISKS arising out of, Associated with or related to my and the Bay Area Users' use of the water, even though such risks may have been caused by the negligence of the Landlord; 2. BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE which I and the Bay Area Users may sustain while using the water, even though such injury, damage, loss or death may have been caused by the negligence of the Landlord; INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS Landlord from any and all claims, demands, actions, liability or costs, including attorneys' fees, which might arise out of my or The Bay Area Users' use of the water, even though such claims, demands, actions and costs may have been caused by the negligence of the Landlord. a) has the effect of releasing, discharging, waiving, and forever relinquishing any and all actions or causes of action that I may have or have had, whether past, present or future, whether known or unknown, and, whether anticipated or unanticipated by me, arising out of my or the Bay Area Users ' use of the water; b) constitutes a complete release, discharge and waiver of any and all actions or causes of action against Landlord; c) applies to personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death which I and the Bay Area Users may suffer, even if caused by the negligent acts or omissions of others; d) is an affirmative representation that I am assuming full responsibility for any and all risk of death or personal injury or property damage suffered by me and the Water Users while utilizing the water; and e) is binding on me, my spouse, my heirs, my personal representatives, my assigns, my children and any Guardian ad litem for said children. 3. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT I acknowledge that by using the water I have read this Waiver & Release and that I understand the words and language in it. I further understand that this Waiver & Release is intended to be broad and inclusive and Governed by the laws of the state of Washington, and I agree that if any portion is held invalid, the remainder of the Waiver & Release will continue in full legal force and effect. I further agree that the venue for any legal proceedings shall be in the county of King, State of Washington. I have read and fully understand the above important information, the potential dangers incidental to using the water, the warning of risks, assumption of risk and Waiver & Release of all claims, and I voluntarily choose to use the water. Guest access The whole house is yours. You have a custom entry code to a digital lock on the front door. This house is 2400 Sq ft, so spread out and relax. Sit on the couch next to the gas fireplace and watch the birds land on the water or squirrels run across the railing. Other things to note We do not recommend small children due the tall stairs, waterfront location, metal furniture, and lack of items for young children (such as a high chair.)
