"A touch of Paradise" is a two bedroom cozy condo with front row sea sights, sounds, and experiences. The complex is equipped with its own communal large pool, BBQ area, huge backyard, and your own private beach access to make our guests time beach-combing and sun-seeking an Ocean BREEZE! The space Pleasure Island (Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and Fort Fisher) has become a RAPIDLY increasing vacation (and full-time!) destination for the East coast and beyond for many reasons. It’s a family-oriented beach with a touch of everything one might be looking for! It’s an AMAZING place to visit, live, and never leave! The suite is in the heart of Carolina Beach and moderate walking distance to downtown and everything that it has to offer. In Carolina Beach you’ve got the boardwalk, restaurants, and local shops of all kinds. If you like adventures, the marina is also there where you can take an offshore fishing trip, diving excursion, or party boat out for a sunset sail. Camping more your thing? Bring the 4X4 and drive (and camp) on the beach at Freeman Park, located on the North End of the island. You can also head down to Kure Beach and fish directly off their fishing pier compete with bait, tackles, and more! The Carolina Beach Lake is nearby, hosting a weekly Farmer’s Market every Saturday, FIREWORKS every Thursday, and outdoor summer movies on Sunday’s (on a large inflatable screen in the middle of the lake!). We welcome you to sit back, relax and enjoy yourselves because that's exactly what the beach is for! "A touch of Paradise" beach condo suite 24A walks you up (or use the onsite elevator!) 3 stilted flights and opens up to a layout consisting of two comfortable bedrooms (one Queen in the master and two Twin's in the second bedroom) along with a Queen size auto-inflating living room pull out if requiring just a bit more guest space. A galley kitchen rests just off the living room and dining area while the entirety of the condo overlooks a panoramic expanse of our Atlantic Ocean. The kitchen is stocked will all the basic cooking and dining utensils one can expect (plates, bowls, cups, silverware, etc.). In addition, there is a microwave, toaster, coffer maker and blender ready to help make yourself at home (while on Vacay!). A few of the amenities provided by your Owners include courtesy large Aussie shampoo and conditioner are left in the bathroom of each bath as well. Also, a roll of TP in each bathroom, 1 roll of PT in the kitchen, 2 garbage bags per garbage, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, dryer sheets, hand soap, dish soap, a sponge, Cafe' Bustelo, Tazo Tea, and pure cane sugar in each kitchen. Additional items are likely on sight as well! The living room boasts a large sliding door where you can watch the pelicans roost and waves crash without moving an inch.A TV and WIFI connection will ensure you stay briefly connected with the outside world before heading back to hunt for the perfect shell. You'll find a Smart TV is each bedroom to enjoy your personal subscriptions and accounts just like home! The unit's ONE QUEEN bed, ONE QUEEN pullout, and TWO TWIN bed's consist of either a plush luxury mattress or a new encased 8” memory foam/cooling gel composition mattress because we want all of our guests to be comfortable when it comes time to recharge (*the Queen pull out is an air mattress). The outdoor shower is located outside in the pool area to help get that sand off of those toes! Guest access The SUITE: Guests have full access to their own private SUITE (never shared). The SALT WATER POOL!: !!!CLOSED FOR SEASON!!! The POOL: The SHARED onsite elevator, pool, and communal beach access are available for all guests to use. PARKING: Each reservation will have access to (2) TWO un-assigned off street parking spaces (the parking passes MUST be visible to avoid an accidental tow). There is a $50 replacement cost if not left at check-out. They all contribute to the “Salt Water” experience and we <3 them for it! •Linens (sheets, bath towels, beach towels, wash cloths, floor towels, pillowcases, etc.) along with pillows and a summer comforter ARE included in your suite rental! ! Please make sure just your TOWELS (bath and beach) are placed in the basket or hamper before your departure! Please let all BED LINENS on the beds remain on the beds for our TEAM to take care of! Alternative Parking: Carolina Beach •The Town of Carolina Beach offers multiple public parking options to visitors and residents on a FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE basis. Town-operated parking is open year round and paid parking is enforced March 1st - October 31st from 9AM - 8PM. Parking fees restart each morning during enforcement hours for all of the Town's parking lots and on-street parking spaces. •PARKING RATES: *(Parking rates are approved annually and are subject to change) March 1st - October 31st, 9AM - 8PM Parking Lots $ 6/hour or $25/day Premium Parking Lots $ 7/hour or $35/day Bus, Limo, and oversized vehicle $10/hour or $40/day On-Street Parking: Without Time Restrictions $ 5/hour With Time Restrictions $ 5/hour Weekly Parking Permits $100 Available for purchase at Town Hall, the Parking Office (open 7 days a week) and online. Kure Beach Parking is enforced March 15 – Sept. 30 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parking rates are $5 per hour. Visitors may purchase a day pass for $20, weekly pass for $100 or full season pass for $225. GOLF CARTS •To the county, golf carts are considered automobiles. Generally speaking, golf carts are NOT allowed on premises of ANY condo, condotel, or apartment. The same goes for trailers, motorcycles, etc. For SFR’s or properties supporting multiple vehicles, carts should be OK. However, be conscious that few homes have external outlets WITHOUT GFCI’S (which are code by today’s standards). Charging a cart on a GFCI will immediately trip the breaker, resulting in the inability to charge a cart amongst other repercussions. Gas carts will generally be the ideal rental option if in a home whose parking supports such. •ALL suites are non-smoking (including vaping) and a heavy cleaning/repair charge can result if not adhered to. This includes porches, decks, balconies, and walkways. • SWRE contractual quiet hours begin at 9:00pm EST. Town ordinance may allow more latitude with regards to noise (11:00pm) but our expectations are to help ensure all guests, locals, and neighbors alike have an enjoyable experience. •NO BBQing on ANY decks or porches. This is a huge fire hazard and is fineable by the town (as is removing batteries from any smoke or co2 alarms). We work extremely hard to keep all our guests safe, and sometimes that takes teamwork! •Please always consider TRAVEL INSURANCE from your respective booking site or vendor to help protect your costs in case of inclement weather or last-minute travel complications (court, illness, etc.). These items are NOT refundable scenarios unless the property itself is compromised. If that does happen, we will do our absolute best to find you alternative housing.
