Located minutes from Big Trees State Park and the Stanislaus River, you can explore scenic trails, enjoy the crisp air, or plan your winter adventures. Nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac, there’s plenty of room for kids and dogs to play. Plus, the historic Lube Room Saloon is a short walk away—ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The space Our charming cabin, nestled among towering cedar trees, offers a welcoming, open floor plan that connects the dining, kitchen, and living room areas. The dining room features a large table that seats up to eight and a sliding door that leads to the backyard, complete with a year-round propane fire pit, private hiking trail, and a one-of-a-kind swing built into the cedars. The kitchen has ample counter space and new appliances, while the living room offers a cozy stone fireplace and a large TV with streaming capabilities for your entertainment needs. Bedrooms & Bathrooms Bedroom #1: The primary bedroom includes a king-size bed, TV, wardrobe, and a desk, perfect for WFH days. Bedroom #2: Features a queen-size bed, TV, and a large closet with plenty of storage. Bedroom #3 (Bunk Room): Designed with kids in mind but comfortable for adults too, it includes a bunk bed (full futon on the bottom, twin on top) and an additional twin bed that folds into a lounge chair, sleeping up to 4. The room also has games and a small TV for cozy movie nights. Bathroom #1: Full bathroom with a shower. Bathroom #2: A full bath with a shower/tub combo, located by the back entrance for convenient post-ski cleanup, and includes a washer/dryer for added convenience. Outside Amenities The large front deck is perfect for dining under the stars or listening to live music from the Lube Room Concert Series (May–October). The side yard features a propane fire pit for year-round enjoyment, while the private hiking trail winds through your half-acre property, just a short walk from the private lake and Lube Room Restaurant. Community Details Located in the Snowshoe Springs Community, Dorrington, CA, you are at the gateway to the High Sierras, with Bear Valley Ski Resort, the Stanislaus River, and Lake Alpine just minutes away. The community’s private lake and rec center (summer only) feature a pool, tennis, basketball, volleyball, and disc golf. The historic Lube Room is open year-round and just a short walk from the cabin—perfect for relaxing after a day of outdoor activities. Guest access The whole home Other things to note — Close to the highway and on a public road that is plowed daily. Driveway is also plowed daily making it easily accessible any time of year. Snow shovels are also provided for removing snow. — In case of winter storms, there is a back-up generator to ensure power is always avaialble. — 20 miles to Bear Valley Ski Resort — 14 miles to wine tasting in Murphys — 4 miles to Big Trees State Park Close enough to everything but nestled in the end of a quiet street for an intimate setting!
