The Little House was originally built in Sparks, Nevada in 1900 and was claimed to be the first farm house in that area. Sparks was founded shortly after in 1904. The "Little House" was then moved to Virginia City in the 1980s and updated with many amenities (plumbing and electrical). We are currently researching deeper into the history of this home, but you will find many homes in Virginia City were moved here. Some even by mule trains! Enjoy the history and the stay! We hope you enjoy the outdoor space, just be careful of the critters outside and please be respectful of the wild life that may be passing though.
