Only 1 hour from the Twin Cities and 20 minutes from Mankato, our year round home is the perfect lakefront getaway! Enjoy our kayak and paddle board or put your own boat in to explore all that Lake Jefferson has to offer! The Jefferson chain of lakes is great for swimming, fishing and boating in the summer and ice fishing in the winter! Boats can be put in at the public launch on East Jefferson and parked at our dock during your stay. *Watercraft not included *Bring your own life jackets The space Our home consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. In bedroom 1, there is 1 queen sized bed. In bedroom 2, there are 2 full sized beds with space for an air mattress if desired. We can provide an air mattress and linens, but please let us know ahead of your stay. In the living room, the brown chair pulls out into a twin sized bed. There is a mattress pad available for the pull out to add additional comfort. Bedding, pillows, beach towels, and shower towels are provided. Our home is equipped with Wi-Fi and a smart TV/Xbox 360 in the living room! The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, bowls, cups, baking utensils, barbecue utensils, a crock pot, pots, pans, strainers, cutting boards, etc. In the summer, enjoy the lake views from the patio furniture on our newly renovated deck! There's a table to enjoy a meal, sun loungers to soak in the rays, or a comfortable sectional to relax in the shade. There is a fire pit by the Lake to enjoy on calm nights. For boaters - the public launch is located on East Jefferson (5 miles from our home), and there is a channel between East Jefferson and Middle Jefferson that can be accessed via boat. We can provide more in depth directions and a map if requested. Although West Jefferson is not accessible via boat from Middle Jefferson, the public launch is located less than 1 mile from our home. Both East and West Jefferson are very popular for recreational activities such as ice fishing, swimming, fishing, tubing, water skiing, jet skiing, etc.
