The top level features 2 bedrooms (one with a private deck), half bathroom and a loft area with a large chair that opens for additional sleeping. The loft has a desk for a dedicated office space, and is great for puzzles, games or curling up with a good book. The house has fast WiFi at 365 Mbps. The main floor has an open floor plan with a modern kitchen, dining table that expands to seat 8 plus 4 seats at the island and living room. From the living room, sliding doors provide access to a large deck overlooking the water. Also on the main floor is a primary bedroom with sunroom, large bathroom with jacuzzi tub, and additional full bathroom with laundry. You'll find a Game Room in the basement with a pool table, Wii and Xbox 360. A half bathroom is also on the basement level. Clean linens, bath towels, beach towels, toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, napkins, ground coffee and coffee filters as well as some spices and cooking oil are all provided. And there's so much to enjoy outside during all 4 seasons! Multiple hiking and nature trails nearby, that can also be used for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months. 6 minutes from Higley Flow State Park, nestled among the Adirondack foothills on the picturesque Raquette River. Snowmobile, Snowshoeing & Cross-Country Trails: - Higley Flow State Park is a 6 minute drive. Their hiking trails double as cross-country ski trails in winter, when snowmobiling, snowshoeing and ice fishing are also allowed. - Sevey’s Northern Run - A nice snowmobile loop with an optional out-and-back up to a viewpoint on Little Blue Mountain. Access in South Colton, 5-10 minute drive. - Star Lake snowmobile loop can also be picked up in South Colton. - Stone Valley Trail, running along both sides of the Raquette River, offers miles of moderate trail with views of several waterfalls and emphasis on local history. Good for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter. - When the lake freezes over you'll see snowmobilers and ice fishers out there too. - St. Lawrence County Snowmobile Trail Map - We’re located in between Colton and South Colton (South of Potsdam). There are a number of trails to the South and East.
