The space This chalet is 3 floors and able to accommodate up to 12 guests perfect for your gathering of family and friends. The main floor has 2 bedrooms (1 queen bed, 2 twin beds), a private study with queen size pull out couch, full bathroom, mudroom, kitchen, dining area, foyer with wood stove, great room. The second floor has 2 bedrooms (2 queen beds), and a full bath. The lower floor has a private media room with a queen size pullout couch, game room with foosball and mini basketball, laundry room and a door leading to the lawn. Disney+ and Netflix will be made available to you to watch while your legs recover from all of the outdoor activities. Enjoy the Adirnodacks with easy access to Whiteface mountain, high peaks and Lake Placid. State park access to the Ausable river is a short 5 minute walk. This home sits across the street from the Au Sable river that allows river views. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy skiing, hiking, fishing, snow shoeing and then come home to cozy up next to a fire in the wood burning fireplace. There is lots of outdoor space with a deck dining area available to seat 6 people. Start a campfire to sit around and have an outdoor barbecue. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware. For families child booster seat and pack and play is available. Amenities provided include blow dryers, body soap, shampoo, iron, washer, dryer and much more more. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home except marked areas including: the basement mechanic room, basement storage room, locked attic areas. Guests can store outdoor gear in the mudroom and mudroom closet. **We do require guests to e-sign a standardized short term rental agreement when booking. There is driveway parking for four vehicles. Other things to note Exterior Cameras | In an effort to maintain secure premises, the cabin is equipped with exterior cameras located at: mud room door, great room door, dining room porch door, lower level entry door. Interior cameras are placed in marked, locked owner only locations: mechanic room, owner's closets. Your privacy is important to us. We do not place any cameras in interior guest locations. House Amenities | - Keyless entry - Free WIFI throughout the entire house - 55" Smart TV in lower level media room - Washer & Dryer - Barrel Sauna for 4 people Griddle & Fireplace | If you plan on using the fireplace (indoor and outdoor), you'll need to supply your own wood (BYO firewood and kindling sticks). For groceries, you can visit Tops Friendly Markets in Au Sable Forks (9 minute drive away) Parking | The driveway is a gravel circular driveway plowed in the winter, but we strongly recommend AWD/4WD for getting around the Adirondack area during the snow season. Street parking is not allowed by the community. Pet | No pets are allowed Baby Equipment | One pack and play, one booster seat and kid plates are available for guests with children. Cleaning Fee | The cleaning fee only includes the basic cleaning of the house. Please make every effort to leave the house as you found it (plus normal wear and tear). Our cleaning team will charge an additional fee which we’ll have to pass to you for any of the following: • Stained towels, bedsheets, bed and duvet covers, walls, furniture, or other items • Garbage pickup (garbage that is outside the trash can or trash bag) • Liquid or food spills • Any additional cleaning or treatment which delays the normal turnover of the house, particularly smoking damage. Kitchen | - Full access to kitchen / oven / wine refrigerator / microwave / refrigerator / dishwasher / coffee maker - All food items will be removed after the guest checks out and starter amounts of coffee will be provided. Bathroom | - Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash - Please report any leaks or plumbing problems to the host immediately, so that they can be repaired. Housekeeping | - No daily housekeeping service. Before check-in, the house will be thoroughly cleaned. - Mid-stay cleaning services during your stay can be requested for an additional fee.
