Welcome to Robin Hill Farm, step back in time at this unique, tranquil getaway 60 miles from Boston. Exhale. Reconnect with self and family. Find peace tranquility and authentic living, surrounded by your own pastures and forests. Birds, wildlife and Natrual resources abound. This 153 acre property of fields and forest, abuts conservation woods and trails for walking hiking and biking. Head down to the swift River to fish. Bringing nature into your family’s life has never been so essential. The space The house is private and exclusively for you and your guests. There are three bedrooms available for you use. The Pond Guest room has a queen bed. The Apple Tree Guest room has a full sized bed and the Maple Tree Guest room has a king sized bed. There are two full bathrooms upstairs shared between the three bedrooms. One has an original claw tub and the other a shower. Downstairs is the kitchen with french doors to the backyard and pond. The dining room has a historic granite hearth and enormous fireplace with family style table custom made by a local artisan from local wood. The living room is a lovely place to gather in the evening and play games. Please see the pictures provided in the listing. The grounds of the property are yours to enjoy as well. Perennial beds and moss covered field stone walls bound the yard and extend around the entire property. The barn can be seen from the house and animals such as goats and horses can be viewed just over the fence. You may occasionally see our caretaker Becca and her partner, Brian, who live in a cabin at the top of the road and who visit the barns twice a day to care for the animals. Feel free to ask them questions. Trails lead from the house down to our river and conservation lands and trails can be easily accessed from our lands. Wake in the morning to make a delicious breakfast on your restaurant grade stove or head up to The Country Store for your morning paper, coffee and freshly baked in house pastry, or to the town green for Sunday bandstand concerts or to fill you baskets with locally grown foods from the Friday afternoon farmers market. Stays at a property such as this is unique and are not available often. Guest access You will have access to the three bedrooms of the house, two bathrooms upstairs as well as mudroom, kitchen, half bath, dining room and living room. Farm areas such as inside barn and inside fences is not for guests to explore. Please respect this for your safety as well as the safety of our animals. Other things to note Our property is at the end of a long private road. It is open and gorgeous and surrounded by forests. You will know you have arrived when you see a pond to your left and drive up a hill past the barns. The house will be in front of you and the circular drive will be to the left under the Maple tree.
