The queen size bed features a new, comfortable ZINUS Green Tea hybrid mattress with memory foam top, and a smart heating thermostat and Alexa device provide easy temperature control and access to entertainment, news, and more. Our cozy gazebo on the deck with a convertible couch offers a unique way to relax and take in the fresh air and natural beauty of the outdoors. Grill a delicious meal on our outdoor grill and savor it on the deck with a view of the river. Additional amenities: USB charging stations; heating and air conditioner; laundry room at no extra charge; propane grill and charcoal grill (we provide propane but not charcoal); firepit with a grill (we do not provide firewood). Hiking, fishing, and nature adventures are all around, making it the perfect getaway for nature lovers. Guest access Our property offers convenient 24/7 access and on-site parking. Access to the suite is via a key code for your security and privacy. Please note that the suite is not suitable for guests with mobility issues, as there is a staircase with 9 steps leading up to it, and a narrow path with tiles and gravel. Other things to note There's no shortage of ways to enjoy the beautiful yard/park surrounding our property. Take a leisurely stroll, relax in one of our hammocks or the riverfront swing, or get your blood pumping on our gym ladder. Sit and soak up the serene atmosphere at our picnic table by the water, or cozy up around the fire pit with plenty of wood to keep you warm and relaxed. If you're an angler, you're in luck - you can cast your line from our shore or the nearby island, and we're happy to recommend other fishing spots on the river and nearby lakes (just ask us). And if hiking or nature walks are more your speed, there's a gorgeous flat trail with stunning river views right next to the house, with plenty of other natural wonders to explore nearby. Our suite is nestled in a beautiful forest setting, offering a peaceful and natural retreat. While this means you might encounter some of the local wildlife, such as insects, small animals, and even deer, it’s all part of the charm of staying so close to nature. While you may hear some noise from the nearby road when outside, it’s quiet and peaceful inside the suite, especially at night. Please note that the house itself has some age and character, reflecting its long history. Despite this, we ensure the suite is clean and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant visit. Please note, we live on the property, so you may see us around sometimes. If you're an artist and looking for inspiration, there's no better place to paint or draw nature. We provide three different sizes of professional easels (from very large to portable), just bring your canvas and supplies.
