Music in the park Sun 12-3 The space You This is a beautiful home that is well appointed in a quiet safe neighborhood. It is a three bedroom, two bath, 1900 sq ft home all to yourself. There are two king beds, one double bed with comfy mattresses, and a very comfortable brand new queen size sofa bed with a very nice memory foam comfortable mattress in the living room. Nice linens and pillows along with nice thick towels. Master bath has a shower and also a garden tub. The other bath is a combination shower/bath combo. Both have handheld water pic shower heads with different shower settings. Soap and shampoo included. The living, kitchen, and dining is all open together which is great for entertaining. We have a fully stocked kitchen with a gas stove, pots and pans, along with spices and oils for your use, as well as a Keurig pot, regular coffee pot, and a tea press, along with other small kitchen appliances. We provide coffee, cream, and sugar, along with tea and hot chocolate. We provide a washer and dryer for your extended stay along with detergent. An iron and ironing board is available. Enjoy the fire pit outdoors when it’s cool. You may want to bring a starter log on your way in so that you can get your fire started quicker. This place is tucked up under old live oak trees and is very cute and very relaxing. We host a lot of people that want to bike on the St Tammany Trace which is a beautiful ride of 30 miles which was an old railroad. It goes from Covington to Slidell with lots to do along the way with breweries and gift shops. Abita Brew Pub Restaurant only 6 blocks away. Home of the original brewed beer. Visit the big Brewery with a tour. We are only 8 miles to the Milicivic Family Vineyards Get out and enjoy walks on the St Tammany Trace where there are plenty of trees and lots of fresh air! Bring your bikes or you can rent bikes 5 blocks away. Just call Brooke’s Bike Shop in Covington, and they will give you the information you need to rent them out. You can walk or ride the Trace to the Abita Brewery and take a tour. Enjoy the eateries, shops, and breweries along the way and also the beautiful Lake Ponchartrain on the lake front in Mandeville. The Lake front is located 9 miles from the house. If you like to golf, there are places surrounding us in Covington, Mandeville, and Abita Springs It is so very nice to sit out on the front porch on the swing and rocker relaxing while enjoying the view of the old live oaks along with listening to all of the birds singing and squirrels running around. Guest also enjoy the back screened in porch. Only four blocks to town. The Abita Cafe is also four blocks away with a great breakfast, lunch, and dinner. New Orleans is 44 minutes away. It’s a beautiful ride on the 24 mile bridge on Lake Ponchartrain that connects us to the Big Easy. Lots of great restaurants and beautiful architecture. We are just a couple of minutes from Mandeville and Covington, Louisiana We do have a fireplace, but for safety reasons we do not allow guests to use it.
