Welcome to the Lazy Loon! Immerse yourself in the perfect home on the North Shore of Lake Superior. The Lazy Loon has been impeccably decorated with a sleek and natural palette, ensuring you can enjoy the property while relishing in the early 1900s rustic atmosphere. This home is perfect for a getaway with friends/family (4 bedrooms!), or a convenient stop for a few nights as you venture our favorite part of Minnesota. The backyard is fenced out from neighbors, nice privacy for gathering. The space The home is furnished with space in mind, accommodating even the largest groups. Enjoy the 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house sleeping up to 8 people comfortably. All bedrooms are equipped with a queen bed, night stand, and outlets to charge any device. Bedroom 1 is located off the main floor dining room. Be aware there is no bathroom on the main floor, so if you stay in this room you will make a quick trip downstairs to use the bathroom. Bedrooms 2, 3, and 4 are located upstairs right next to the upstairs bathroom. These bedrooms have dresser/closet space, and a nice view from the second floor windows. Bedroom 3 is what we call our "walk-through" bedroom, which means that bedroom 4 is only accessible by walking through bedroom 3. All bedrooms have there own door, ensuring privacy and a great nights sleep. There is a baby gate for the set of stairs to the basement. Feel free to use if you're bringing little ones. •Living Room• The living room has a comfortable 3-person couch with two accent chairs appointed next to it and a large 50-inch Smart-TV. Enjoy the open-floor feel as you relax adjacent to the dining and kitchen area. Additionally, there is a provided single air mattress if the kids want to have a movie night by the TV or someone wants an extra sleeping spot. Feel free to log-in to any streaming services you have on the Smart-TV! Cable/Streaming is not provided. •Kitchen• Use the kitchen (fully stocked) to make your favorite home-cooked meal, or the dining room (8 spots!) to order-in from one of the many great eats in town. Ice trays will be clean and ready for use in the cabinet and filtered water faucet provided at the kitchen sink. •2 Bathrooms• Main bathroom is located upstairs next to 3 of the bedrooms. The second bathroom is located downstairs, and is where you find the sauna. The sauna is a great place to blow off some steam, or relax with up to 3-4 people comfortably. •Washer and Dryer• Washer and dryer are available for your use. •Beautiful Backyard• Lastly, enjoy the trickling creek in the backyard. Just steps out of the back door you will hear the relaxing sounds of the flowing water tapping on the rocks. When the snow has melted, this is a great spot to sit for hours around a fire or on a blanket with one another. * Firewood is not provided * •Location and Walking• Go for a walk around beautiful Two Harbors, relax on the couch reading from our small Minnesotan book collection, or grab a board game and sit around the dining table. 4min walk to the the Malt Shoppe, 3min walk to Black Woods Bar & Grill, 7min walk to Do North Pizzeria, 8 minute walk to Castle Danger Brewery. Additionally, just a 4min drive to beautiful Agate Bay Beach and 5min drive to the Two Harbors Lighthouse Museum, which is the oldest operating lighthouse on the North Shore! Guest access The entire house, backyard, driveway, and lot will be yours to enjoy. Other things to note •Parking• For parking vehicles or snowmobile trailers, the driveway is approximately 32 feet from the back of the cement to the sidewalk, and then you have an extra 16 feet from sidewalk to the road. Two Harbors prohibits blocking the sidewalk, but a permit can be obtained by calling the Two Harbors Police (Parking space varies based on snowfall). Public street parking is available as well Please bring your own charcoal and fluid for use of the grill.
