Enjoy the cozy feel of one of Burlington’s most historic lakeside neighborhoods while staying in this perfect mid-century home. Beautifully decorated and located on the bike path, featuring a sweeping backyard, a patio built for entertaining, and a stunningly beautiful lake sunset just steps away. Retreat to the deck of this restful getaway and enjoy twinkling patio lights and star gaze under a cozy blanket, or enjoy a backyard fire in the private secluded backyard. Location, Location, Location! The space The house is located across a green park and is directly on Burlington’s bike path in the South End Lakeside Neighborhood. The house counts a living room, a kitchen featuring an eat-in island, a dining room, three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a huge backyard with fire pit area, a patio terrace, and a cozy loft area in the master suite. The master suite is a separated space with a separate lounge area, beautiful sunlight, and a private bathroom. The entire space has internet connection. The space is pet-friendly. Please note an additional $90 per stay charge will be added to the cleaning fee for reservations with pets. Pets on the reservation (and a description) must be disclosed at time of reservation. Due to homeowners insurance and fire safety issues, the interior fireplace is NOT available for guest use. There is a fire pit in the backyard (all fires must be extinguished by 10:00 PM to abide by neighborhood quiet hours). Air mattress provided for additional sleeping arrangements. Guest access Smart lock code will be provided, 2 off-street parking spots and plenty of free on-street parking available. Other things to note Take an early morning stroll and enjoy the morning sunrise without the tourists. This is the quintessential Burlington retreat for relaxing by the lake and enjoying all the great activities the area has to offer. There is top notch farm-to-table dining, trendy wine bars & shops, breweries, pizza, popular retail stores and chic boutiques, incredible live music nightly, hopping nightlife with over 20 bars and pubs - ALL within a mile! Also, there are over a dozen of the world's best craft breweries all within a short drive - several are just a few blocks away! (Zero Gravity, Switchback, Burlington Beer Company, Queen City, Citizen Cider) The Neighborhood: - Greenway Bike Path, (out the front door!) - Scenic bike path that stretches over 22 miles along the shoreline of Lake Champlain. - Park, Playground, Basketball Court, (across the street) - Local neighborhood beach, (0.2 miles) - Great soft-sand, family beach with long sandbar. - St. John's Club, (0.2 miles) - Local waterfront bar / private club - only open to the public on Fridays. - Hula Co-workspace, (0.3 miles) - Technology-focused co-workspace and business accelerator - daily, weekly passes available. - The Spot @ Hula Restaurant, (0.3 miles) - Open from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for breakfast, coffee, smoothies and lunch. - Burlington Surf Club, (0.4 miles) - Private beach access, kayak, SUP, windsurfing equipment for rent - day passes available. - Oakledge Park, (0.4 miles) - One of Burlington's most popular waterfront parks with a great beach, tennis courts, playground, open-air pavilion for gatherings and cookouts. Walk just a few blocks out the door to Oakledge Park & beach! - Coffee Shops, Feldman's Bagels (0.4 miles), Nomad Coffee (0.8 miles), Speeder & Earl's Coffee (0.9 miles), Myer's Bagel Bakery (0.9 miles), Brio Coffeeworks (1.2 miles) - Red Rocks, (1.8 miles) - Hiking trails with beautiful vistas of Lake Champlain, the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks - Boating - If you would like to experience Lake Champlain by boat, the owner will happily schedule a boating experience for water skiing, wake-boarding, tubing, or a sunset cruise.
