Welcome to The Container Retreat @ 290 Wine Trail! The perfect place to stay as you explore the beautiful Texas Hill Country and it's amazing wineries, parks, shops and people. We are happy to share our special getaway with you and truly hope you enjoy it as much as we do. The space This unit is a 20' shipping container that has been converted into a tiny home in the heart of the Texas Hill Country complete with a full bath with walk-in shower, kitchenette with mini fridge and microwave, dining counter and Queen-sized Murphy bed in the living room. It is a tiny home with just under 160 square feet but has everything you need for a comfortable night's sleep. The peace and tranquility is amazing and we are right in the middle of over 50 Texas Hill Country wineries. We have three within walking distance that you can begin to enjoy as you settle in: Blue Lotus Winery and Silver Dollar Winery to the east and Untamed to the west. So whether you are looking for a quick getaway or a home base while you attend one of the many festivals and events in the surrounding areas, we are the right choice. Guest access Our containers are arranged in pods of five surrounding majestic oak trees and lush landscaping with just enough ambient lighting to make it relaxing and comfortable. If you want to hang out, just walk over to the common area where you will find open space, chairs, a hammock, picnic tables, grills, giant beer pong, wooden tower game, ring games and our custom Container Retreat cornhole boards. Since we want to preserve our beautiful oak trees, we do not currently offer a fire pit. Other things to note Our mattresses were custom handmade locally from Cantwell Mattress in San Antonio. These mattresses are made in Texas with 100% All-Natural Cotton sourced in Texas. Our shampoo, conditioner and body wash are made with 100% Pure Morocco Argan Oil and are 100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free. In addition, our hand soap is made with essential oils, aloe vera, olive oil, and without parabens, phthalates or artificial colors. We have provided everything you need in our kitchenette, including a corkscrew and wine pourer to enjoy your Texas Hill Country wine. Couples getaway, check! Girls weekend, check! Bachelor or Bachelorette parties, check! Whatever the occasion, we are the right choice. We have twelve other listing and can accommodate groups of up to thirty two. If you need to book larger parties, we have a total of ten 20' containers available that can accommodate up to 20 adults.
