Come unwind in this quiet country getaway located in Fairhope. Loft has a 2nd story balcony overlooking 17 acres of pecan trees. The balcony faces West for the perfect sunset viewing. Great TV viewing area. Best couch ever! Plenty of room on the sectional couch to sprawl out on and watch your favorite show. Fast internet Downtown Fairhope15min. Gulf 35min The space Start your day with a nice cup of coffee(coffee and creamer provided) on the second story balcony patio..and after that fun day of enjoying this truly great area, sit and watch the sunset on that same patio. Inside the apartment some of the things you will first will notice is the workmanship; split brick kitchen walls and counters, marble bathroom counter and tiled shower ceiling with the rainfall shower head. All the window sills are marble. There is a large couch with a chase lounger..great for kicking back and watching a show. We have had multiple guests asking where we purchased the couch. Its so comfy! We have a Roku TV good for your Netflix account. Direct TV .Fast internet to support any kind of streaming you want to do.. Full kitchen with everything you need. Blackout curtains in the bedroom to keep the room dark for a good nights sleep. Queen size bed that is very comfortable(for real). I like a bed that is not too high off the ground where you can just ease into. There is a 8 inch memory foam mattress bed in the rooms oversized closet(almost the size of a small room) than can be used for the extra guest...Kids love it, they feel like they have their own little spot. Nice bathroom with a spacious shower that has a bench. More than adequate water pressure. The Loft has lots of insulation and a great air conditioner to cool down the place. (New A/C installed October 2022. New water heater installed June 2022). The bedroom has a large closet with a full length mirror(we get lots of people attending weddings and this comes in handy). Flat screen TV mounted on the wall in the bedroom. We keep the place sparkling clean for our guests. You are separated from the main house. The loft has its own private staircase. The patio is set up in a way that you that is partially enclosed for the privacy. You will be the only ones staying in this building..there is no one staying below. I love the beach(all times of the year). We have beach equipment for you to borrow. I also have a professional body board to borrow, good for surfing the waves.Speaking of beach, the loft has a comprehensive beach guide that outlines almost every public beach in our area. From the bedroom window, there is a good chance to see deer around dusk...the deer like to take a route from the field across the street, through our property, and out through a gap in the fence on the back part of the property. A beverage and light snack will be waiting on you at the loft upon arrival. Coffee and creamer is provided. Listing picture disclosure: Hurricane Sally tore the roof off of the hay barn next to the loft. The barn does not appear the same as it does in the pictures. Guest access Just a few things of caution for if you are traveling with some little ones. The immediate property around the main house, including pool is not available because of insurance purposes. Please watch young children, for the pool does not have a fence around it. Also, because its a retired ranch with ranch equipment, some precaution should be taken with young children around the equipment. Because we respect your privacy, we do Not have any video surveillance cameras on the property. Other things to note The loft has a nice guestbook. Currently it has recommendations of places to eat and things to do. I have grown up in this area. I have a intense love of the water and beaches. For the Summer, I will an ultimate beach guide. This includes the best beaches tailored for every type of experience. From the quick easy trip with kids, to the only beach that you will sometimes only see one or two people..which is almost near impossible with the popularity of this great area. Smoking inside the loft is strictly prohibited. Smoking inside the loft will result in a $350 smoking fee. The number of guests staying overnight must match the number of guests listed on the reservation. I firmly follow my cancellation policy, and travel insurance is strongly recommended.
