There's plenty of room on the covered porches and in the mudroom to store skis and other winter stuff. Two spacious covered porches surround the house. Luxuriating on either porch, you can sip a cup of steaming coffee during the gorgeous sunrise or a glass of wine during the divine sunset after which the stars put on a dazzling display. The front porch, which stretches the entire width of the house, contains a generous outdoor dining table and 6 chairs; an expansive hammock; an oversized rocking chair; and Buddy the Wood-carved Bear to welcome you. There are also 2 ski holders, which accommodate 8 sets of skis, and 2 boot cleaners. The porch off the primary bedroom, with steps to the secluded side and back yards, contains an artsy wicker chair and ottoman as well as 2 chaise lounges. You won't see another house, but you may see a visiting rabbit. Lay back and breathe the crisp mountain air. Guest access This is a whole-house rental of a brand-new, one-story home on 3 acres. You'll have free rein throughout the living area of the house as well as all the porches and surrounding land. For your security, Ring cameras have been installed at the exterior doors. At Lucky Bear Lodge, we're obsessed with cleanliness and dedicated to exceptional sanitation and safety standards. We supply bedroom, bathroom and kitchen linens. Also provided are pillows with zippered pillow protectors; mattresses with zippered mattress protectors and mattress pads; and a bunch of cleaning products. A snow-plow service takes care of the driveway when more than 4 inches of snow falls, and the house comes equipped with a shovel for the stairs. Ice melt may be provided. The house has a locked, unfinished basement that isn't usable. Besides that, we invite you to indulge in everything our mountain retreat has to offer. Other things to note Lucky Bear Lodge is centrally located in a breathtaking mountain setting on Rt. 116 (Easton Valley Road) in Easton. The DOT quickly clears Rt. 116 of snow, making it clear sailing for anywhere you want to go. Easton is one-third of the captivating tri-town area that also includes Franconia and Sugar Hill. It's 18 minutes to bustling Littleton, often named one of the best small towns in America, which is filled with restaurants, breweries and shops as well as a few big-box stores.
