The Grand County Launchpad is a cozy, clean 2 bedroom/2 bathroom, 3rd floor corner condo in an ideal location, a 3 min drive from the Granby Ranch base lodge, which allows for quick and easy access to the ski lifts at Granby Ranch, hiking and biking trails, world class golfing, and fishing. It is also minutes from downtown Granby, Grand Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park and Winter Park, making it the perfect launchpad for your Grand County adventures! The space Located within the Aspen Meadows condo complex, The Grand County Launchpad has so much to offer. This spacious, top floor, corner unit has vaulted ceilings and meadow/mountain views as well as everything you need for a comfortable stay (updated finishes, tasteful furniture, modern electronics, items for babies/toddlers/kids and full size grill). Perfect for families, this property can sleep up to 5 in the two bedrooms. Parking is a breeze with plenty of available parking outside the unit. A private ground level storage unit is provided to guests to store their gear. NOTE: This unit is on the third floor accessed by stairs and is thus not likely a good fit for anyone with mobility issues. The condo is outfitted with a gas fireplace, ideal for warming up after a day in the snow with a soft, cozy throw blanket, wisps of steam rolling off your hot cup of tea, warming your nose and cheeks! The fully-equipped kitchen and open concept living/dining area provides ample room for your group to lounge and recount the day's adventures. A balcony overlooking the surrounding meadow and mountains provides space to fire up the grill or relax and enjoy the incredible view. After a long day on the slopes, you can soak your weary bones in the Aspen Meadows community hot tubs located steps away from your condo (no fee) or head over to the Granby Ranch clubhouse to take a dip in the heated community pool and large hot tub or exercise at the fitness center (3 minute drive, fee applies). There are also two stone fire pits located conveniently within the Aspen Meadows community for gathering with friends and s’more roasting (firewood provided). Once inside the condo, you’ll be ready to relax and enjoy your favorite show or game on one of the 3 TVs (one in the main living area and one in each bedroom) or gather in the common area and enjoy the array of games available for kids and adults. Kitchen: The kitchen has all you will need for preparing meals including full size appliances and an outdoor grill. Included in the kitchen are supplies for cooking and baking, including high-end cookware, utensils and knives. Dishes and glassware, as well as a crock pot, dutch oven, toaster, and griddle are also available in this fully stocked kitchen. The unit also provides a coffee grinder, tea kettle, french press, and a drip coffee maker. Sleeping arrangements: ● Master Suite (sleeps 2): features a king size bed, en suite bathroom, TV, ceiling fan, mountain views and walk-in closet ● 2nd bedroom (sleeps 3): twin over queen bunk beds and an optional pack-n-play, TV, ceiling fan, mountain views ● This home has 2 full bathrooms, both include a tub and shower Town of Granby - Short Term Rental Permit #006292 Guest access Guests will have access to everything that our home has to offer! Upgraded finishes, cozy furnishings, towels and linens. Parking for up to three vehicles is available in the common parking area outside the unit. A storage locker for ski and/or golf equipment is available for your use. The kitchen, all living & sleeping areas, washer/dryer, balcony and grill are available for your full use. The condo is great for families and stocked with many baby/toddler/kid essentials including a pack-n-play with optional bassinet attachment, booster seat with optional tray, kids plastic dishes and utensils, books, and games. The two community hot tubs, including one located just outside of this building, are available for guest use. In addition, guests have access to the Granby Ranch Hall clubhouse, which is a 3 minute drive and features a heated pool and hot tub that are available year-round and a fitness center (see below for details). All short term renters staying in the home must purchase a $15 day pass via credit card at the Ranch Hall to use the facilities. All children 8 and under are free. The pass is good for the entire day. Renters must present documents that show they are staying in a full benefit member home in order to purchase a pass. A VRBO/Airbnb or any other type of reservation confirmation with address of the home will work as proof. Other things to note A few extra notes about our condo and things we particularly love about spending time here: We’ve tried to make it feel like a perfect, cozy mountain getaway for our family and for you by stocking all the things we enjoy having when we travel. The kitchen is stocked with quality cookware, we have a handful of board games for the kids and coffee table books and local area guide books for adults. There are a number of other necessities and nice-to-have items available to reduce the work of traveling with babies and kids, and let you enjoy your time together. We love the location, which is both quiet and incredibly convenient to everything Grand County has to offer. The location provides very quick access to groceries and a liquor store (both across the street but out of immediate view), convenient family-friendly skiing and world-class mountain biking at Granby Ranch, paddling or boating in the summer at nearby Lake Granby, and the fantastic restaurants and breweries in the town of Granby (a few minutes north) and Fraser (a few minutes south). Drive just a bit further south and you reach the town of Winter Park for big mountain skiing and biking at Winter Park ski resort or drive 25 minutes north to quaint, yet breathtaking Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. The remote location makes just relaxing in the hot tub star-gazing at night a lovely way to pass the time as well. We think our condo has the best location in the complex as we particularly enjoy the privacy of the patio and watching the birds in the nearby wetlands.
