Relaxation and serenity are almost guaranteed as you enjoy your cozy furnished chalet- the owners have recently updated the cabin with your vacation stay in mind to include the necessities like a toasty wood burning fireplace, Streaming TVs, fabulous backyard and BBQ area, and a full kitchen for your meals- you will love your stay here. Flat driveway parking and easy single level access are an added bonus as you pull up to your cabin located just a mile from the lake and Snow Summit Resort. Enter your living room area where you are greeted with vaulted knotty pine beamed ceilings pairing with big open windows to allow the perfect balance of natural lighting and alpine views and give you immediate mountain vibes. Your group will love snuggling up on the comfy couches in front of the toasty wood fireplace as you pop on a movie on the flat screen Streaming TV and watch the snow fall, the owners have provided complimentary hi speed WIFI internet throughout the property for your enjoyment. (Guests must have their own accounts to enjoy Streaming Services.) The open floor plan flows seamlessly to the dining area and the adorable kitchen where you will find the necessities for whipping up your home cooked meals here at the cabin. Oak cabinets are stocked with cookware and utensils for your chef along with newer stainless appliances and a native custom log breakfast bar with additional seating for meals. Being a single level chalet you will have quick and convenient access to both of your bedrooms and your hallway bathroom, each is made up for you visit with warm linens, blankets, pillows, and fresh shower towels and offers knotty pine ceiling accents, dresser space for your belongings, and great windows with alpine treed views. Venture out back to the spacious and private fenced backyard and massive wrapped sun deck where you can spend your days relaxing under the mountain sunshine or stargazing at night. Picnic tables and patio furnishings are perfectly placed throughout the property to give your group great spaces to enjoy your time together along with a propane BBQ to grill up your freshly caught dinner from the lake. Take a quick stroll down to the lake and local Meadow Park as you enjoy this quiet residential neighborhood while local dining and even the Village shops are less than three miles from your home making this an ideal location year round. Big Bear GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY is enforced at all times during your stay and includes removing trash from the property to local trash sites, washing dishes to alleviate wild animals being attracted to neighborhoods. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS, No Over Occupancy, No Loud Music, and No Street Parking is allowed in Big Bear homes at any time. This policy along with a rental agreement will be emailed to you immediately after booking and is REQUIRED by the City of Big Bear Lake for all rentals in Big Bear. If found in violation of these policies guests will be visited by staff and Code Enforcement officers who may or may not issue fines or evictions to the violating party members. No Smoking is allowed in any Big Bear homes. Check-in time is 4:00 pm Check-out time is 10:00 am There is no early arrival or later departure availability during peak season and holidays. Contact our office the morning of arrival or departure to confirm early arrival or later departure availability for your stay. (Fee Applies) Winter Snow & Parking- During winter months the driveways, steps, porches, decks, and other outdoor areas at your property may not be accessible due to snow or ice. Our teams are on fixed routes for snow and work alongside city and county resources to clear roads, driveways, walkways etc. Guests should be prepared in winter months to shovel themselves in or out of the property and off of the street in these snowstorm events. As there is no street parking allowed in Big Bear it is extremely important that guests make every attempt to get vehicles off the street for the snowplows. California Law requires that vehicles traveling to Big Bear from November thru April have snow chains in their vehicles however we also recommend proper footwear, an emergency kit, and an extra snow shovel. Pet Policy- Pet Friendly Homes ONLY Pet Fees $35/Pet Nightly Fee + Tax Pet Policy ~All dogs on the property must be registered and acknowledges with the front desk ~Dogs may not be left unattended in the home at any time ~Pet owners are responsible for cleanup of pets or are subject to an added cleaning fee Service Animals Are Welcome! California Penal Code: (a) Any person who knowingly and fraudulently represents himself or herself, through verbal or written notice, to be the owner or trainer of any canine licensed as, to be qualified as, or identified as, a guide, signal, or service dog, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding six month, by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), or by both that fine and imprisonment. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA. Though individually owned and decorated all homes will be equipped with clean linens, blankets, pillows, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy of your property. Each home has a full kitchen with basic pots, pans, dishes, and a small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Your home will not be supplied with paper towels, coffee filters or coffee, specialty kitchen items or appliances, condiments or oils, bathrooms soaps or lotions and hair dryers. There is no Pay-Per-View access or Ordering of Viewing options in any of our Big Bear homes. No refunds or credits will be made for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, TV or other equipment factors beyond our control. Big Bear is a mountain community located in a deep forest which is also home to many forest critters. Common animals or insects that you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects every home prior to your arrival but cannot guarantee that the home will be free of these forest animals or pests. Big Bear Vacations reserves the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
