Desk w/printer, monitor, & great Wi-Fi for WFH too. We take care of the details so you don't have to! The space Located in a building referred to as having "One of the best locations in Reno" Newly and professionally renovated,The decor has an elegant nod to Nevada’s rugged ranching history in the details, paying homage to the rich past of the area. Washer-dryer, 2 full bathrooms - 1 with a jetted soaking tub! A luxurious & comfy Sofa Sleeper in the living room. The balconies (yes, 2 of them) are a great place to relax, unwind, and of course heat and A/C too. Desk, printer, laptop stand,computer screen and great WiFi. All you need to work, because sometimes we have to. It is the place you want to hang your hat after a fun day of exploring this vibrant, artful and relevant city. PARKING: We do not have "on-sight" parking. We do have a parking space in a nearby lot available for rent during your stay. - At the unit, there is a 20 minute loading and unloading space for getting your bags in and out. - This is a down-town loft condo and like most down-towns, parking is first come, first get! - There is street parking in the surrounding 1+ blocks - free, 2 hour, and metered. The metered parking is paid from 9-6PM, for 5 hour increments. It is free overnight and on Sundays and holidays. - Free parking is all around, on the street. M-F there is 2 hour parking on some adjacent streets too, 9-6PM. - We have 1 leased parking space off-sight (1.5 blocks away, just across the river) for an additional fee. - PARKING GARAGE FOR AN ADDED FEE: $45/per stay or $90/per stay for 14+ day or $120/for 28+ day long term rentals. NOTE: WE CHARGE A $300 COMPLETELY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT to ensure the return of the parking pass at check out. Guest access The entire unit is yours when here - as well as access to the common areas. Other things to note Historic, professionally designed condo on River-walk in Downtown Reno Beautiful condo on the 8th floor of the iconic Park Tower in downtown Reno overlooking the Truckee River and city. Built in 1961, you will be staying in a one-of-a-kind building that is famous for its mid-century modern architecture. At 1160 sq. ft., the unit is spacious, clean, and exquisite. During your stay, you can enjoy stunning views of mountains, city, parks, and river from large windows facing North, West, and East. Two outdoor balconies with seating facing city/mountains. Panorama Place is spacious and newly designed with a modern nod to the rich rugged history of Reno. Comfortable, clean, and with all the amenities this super-host is known for including black-out drapes, luxurious personal amenities, fully stocked kitchen and more. A bonus is the elegant nighttime city light view. The dining area with seating for six boasts another lovely view of the mountains and skyline. The living room has a large modern sectional sofa with full swivel leather chairs for enjoying both the TV and Living room view or sipping your cocktail viewing the city scape. Windows throughout on an entire side of this condo. Lots of light and views! The Master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with rich marble tile shower, king bed, sitting area, office space with desk and screen and printer with a panoramic northern view of Reno and large closet. Office space, work-out mirror, mats, and amenities, in-unit washer and dryer and all the personal items you need are provided. Unlimited Hot water is another benefit of this classic building. This is a city location, with all the sounds, but thick walls offer a quiet, soundproofing element. Great place to rent in the winter if you like snow skiing. Incline, Heavenly and Squaw ski resorts among others are a short car ride away. Enjoy the shows of Wingfield Park amphitheater and watch river rafting contests on the Truckee River. The annual Balloon Race can be seen right from your balcony! Bring your hiking gear as there are many challenging opportunities for snowshoeing, climbing, and hiking in the majestic Sierras and local mountains such as Peavine. Drive to Lake Tahoe where you can tour this beautiful area, see the deepest mountain lake in the US and swim in its cool clear waters. Walk out your front door and you are in downtown Reno with restaurants, bars, casinos, shows, and museums. The Reno Aces ballpark also a short walk away and you can see their fireworks from the balcony of the unit! Scenic walking paths along the Truckee River highlighted with multiple interesting sculptures (some from Burning Man festival) and some created by well-known artists. Art town adjacent, with many beautiful murals and sculptures scattered throughout downtown. Make sure to bring your bathing suit so you can enjoy man made rapids and bathing pools right outside the condo. Many people will get floating tubes so they can drift along the river with friends or for a more exciting ride, go with a local rafting company. You are a short walk to midtown, a trendy neighborhood with an active nightlife of bars and restaurants and enjoy shopping in quirky fashionable boutiques. If you like day trips you can go to Virginia City, about 40 minutes south from Reno, a place that is reminiscence of an 19th century mining town. There you can have dinner at an old-fashioned saloon, tour a silver mine and visit a real haunted house that was featured on the show “Ghost Adventures”. Another day/night trip for the astronomer in you would be to go to Massacre Rim about 150 miles north of Reno and where you can star gaze in one of 15 designated “dark sky” areas in the world. Take my word for it, this is worth the trip to see our home in the Milky Way. Closer to home is the Wilbur D May Museum in Rancho San Rafael Regional Park to see an amazing collection of artifacts collected by this great philanthropist. In this park there is also an awesome Arboretum and Botanical Garden. The Wildest, Richest, Rodeo in the West occurs every year and hosts a 11-day rodeo named 3rd best by USA Today’s 10 best rodeos in the country. Panorama Place is perfect for a small family, a work trip or working vacation, a romantic couples stay, girlfriends getaway or guys trip. You can be as active as you want or just sit and relax and enjoy the views and ambiance from my beautiful home! We look forward to hosting you! Our Green Efforts: • Products and Offerings: We lead the way in using dispensers for shampoo, soap, lotion, among other amenity items. We pride ourselves in the products we use, too. They are all good for you and good for the earth from organic raw products going into them to bio-degradable packaging and as local as can be creation and transportation . • Energy Efficiency: We have policies and smart home technologies in every home, as we can, to ensure our properties are as efficient as possible. From LED light bulbs and energy efficient appliances to smart locks, lights, and thermostats to “heat on demand” spa and pool heating for just when you want it. We have also invested in insulation and maintenance to ensure heating and cooling are efficient. • Re-use, Reduce, Recycle, Sustainability is forefront in our thoughts and offerings. Cities vary, but where possible, we have recycling and compost bins in addition to trash. We also opt for digital information v. paper whenever possible.
