The space • This home allows one pet for an additional rent of $25 per night plus 6.75% taxes. This is not included in your quote and will be requested in the Airbnb resolution center. Snowflake River Ridge (formerly Catch and Release) is a classic cozy cabin located just a few yards away from the magnificent prestigious Elk River and very conveniently located only approximately 5 minutes (3 miles) from scenic downtown Banner Elk with plentiful restaurants and boutiques. This beautiful 2-bedroom 2-bathroom cabin (sleeps 6) is perfect for a family getaway to the High Country! The cabin is also located near 3 major ski resorts. The main level is living area features hardwood floors, a gas-log fireplace, flat screen TV and a large cozy couch. Just behind the living room is the fully equipped kitchen with an island with 3 bar stools, stainless appliances, Keurig (and Drip) coffee pot, and all the utensils you need to prepare a delicious meal! There is a separate dining table that sits 4 people. Also on the main lower level is a full bathroom featuring granite counters and a tile shower, and a full-sized laundry room. Directly off the side of the kitchen, step outside onto the covered patio and enjoy your meal at the table with enough room for 6 people! There is an amazing newer 6-person hot tub as well as a charcoal grill (BYO charcoal). Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms and 1 shared full bath. The spacious Master bedroom has a king bed, 2 separate twin beds in an alcove finished with barn-wood accents, and additional seating space in front of the large screen TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed. Both bedrooms have flat screen TVs for your enjoyment. Across the hall is the shared bathroom with a tiled shower. When staying at Snowflake River Ridge, guests will enjoy access to most amenities inside of Eagles Nest as well as the River Club amenities. Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman’s Lodge, the Fitness Center, the Wine & Cigar Bar, or The River Club Lodge. These areas require a membership and are not available for guests. ​​​​ When you are ready to explore, head across the street to Eagles Nest and enjoy the wonderful amenities listed below. Vineyard Food and Wine served Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p. Sat & Sun 1p-7p Please note all visitors on premise at the Winery must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced. Additional Notes: - This home does not provide a grill. - Please note there is a camera on the front door to monitor the front entrance. No other cameras point at the home or at any of the common areas. - Community firepit next to the river (firewood ordered would be delivered to the home, not the fire pit site). Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night. - 2000 feet of private, pristine headwaters of the Elk River for catch and release of trophy trout. Fishing in the Elk River is catch and release only using artificial bait with barbless hooks. All anglers must have a valid NC fishing license on their person anytime they are fishing. - Stocked fishing ponds for catch and release fishing. - Please note that there is no land-line phone in this cabin. - Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATV's. For information about ATV rentals please visit: Off Road Adventures website. - Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.) - The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks. - All linens and towels are provided for your stay. -Roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access the property in winter months. We are happy to help you find the home with the access you are most comfortable with, any time of year! - This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home. - Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception. • Check in is after 4pm • Checkout by 10am • Pets are not permitted. Thank you for not bringing pets to the home. • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. • No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed. Keep outside noise respectable. • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter- it is your responsibility to come prepared for winter weather. No refunds are given if you are not prepared for winter weather. • Guest is responsible for any damages caused by intentional (non-accidental) actions. • Host is not responsible for items left in the home. • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions sent by Host (property manager) within 60 days of arrival.
