Kiburi Cottage @ Kruger is a quaint cottage situated in the 3,000 hectare Wildlife Conservancy called Marloth Park. This is a popular place to stay for guests visiting Kruger National Park for some renowned Big Five game viewing safari's. It is also a popular stop-over for guests en-route to Eswatini/Swaziland & Mozambique. With no demarcation fences in-between the houses, the animals roam around freely. Our guests absolutely love our wildlife almost on their doorstep. The space Kiburi Cottage @ Kruger is a delightful open plan sleeper unit. If you are tired of camping and not quite into glamping, the Cottage is for you! This delightful, old school cottage has a queen size bed and two single beds. The cottage is ideal for a couple, a young family or solo travelers. The weather is pleasant throughout winter which is the ideal time for game viewing. The compact kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet. Relax around the outdoor boma braai (BBQ) or in the splash pool and enjoying the animals walking right up to the small wall separating the cottage garden from the parkland area. Our guests are supplied with tea, coffee, sugar and sweetener. We also have the main, spacious home available on the property as well, if you need space for a larger group of guests. The house sleeps 4 people maximum. If both properties are available at the same time, we can accommodate a group of 8 people maximum. Guest access Guests have full access of cottage, private garden, splash pool, boma braai (BBQ) area and parking area outside. Other things to note Remember your binoculars for game drives. Very important to note: in summer remember sun screen and mosquito repellent. If you have space in your bag for a torch, bring it along! It is fun checking out the mostly shy nocturnal animals outside. Guests to Marloth Park needs to respect the right of all other visitors to the park to enjoy a quiet and peaceful Bushveld break, by not having excessive loud parties at night.
