Kiburi @ Kruger is a spacious property situated in a 3,000 hectare Wildlife Conservancy known as Marloth Park. Marloth Park is a popular place to stay for guests visiting Kruger National Park for exciting Big Five game viewing safari's. It is also a popular stop-over for guests en-route to Eswatini/Swaziland & Mozambique. With no demarcation fences in-between the houses, animals roam around freely in Marloth Park. Our guests absolutely love the wildlife almost on their doorstep. The space Kiburi @ Kruger is a self-catering property offering you lots of real living space and not just a place to sleep. One great feature of the property is that it is bordering Parkland area, demarcated exclusively for the animals to roam around. The property is also close to the shops and the main road. It is currently winter and we are heading into our spring. The weather is pleasant throughout winter and this is the ideal time for game viewing in Kruger Park and even from the various lookout points overlooking the Crocodile River. The house has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The large kitchen is well equipped. We supply our guests with tea, coffee, sugar, sweetener, salt and pepper. We also have a well-stocked herbs & spices cabinet for the convenience of our guests. The property has an extended outdoor area which contains a large refreshing pool and undercover braai (BBQ) area, surrounded by a tranquil garden. We also have the wood fire pizza oven and a fire pit outside. The property also has a small private rock pool outside the main bedroom, overlooking Parkland area. Night time is the time to gather around the fire pit with a glass of wine and some snacks to gaze at the abundance of stars in the sky. You might even decide to cook your own pizza's in our wood burning pizza oven! The Bushbaby feeding station outside is a source of delight for young and old. It is fun watching the little ones come in to feed daily, shortly after sunset. We also have Kiburi Cottage @ Kruger available, if you need space for a larger group of guests. The Cottage sleeps 4 people maximum. If both properties are available at the same time, we can accommodate a group of 8 people maximum. Guest access Guests have access to the full house and surrounding garden and parking areas. Other things to note Remember your binoculars for game drives. Very important to note: remember sunscreen and mosquito repellent in summer. Guests to Marloth Park needs to respect the right of all other visitors to the park to enjoy a quiet and peaceful Bushveld break, by not having excessive loud parties at night. If you have space in your bag for a torch, bring it along! It will help you see the shy nocturnal wildlife outside at night.
