The space Near the very tip of a rocky point peninsula, bordering a nature preserve on one side and California's oldest and largest lake on the other, this compound is made up of two homes each with two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, living room and outdoor area with bbq, seating, and lake views. The houses are built right up on the lake and this unique feature really magnifies the lake views and lake house feeling. The house was tastefully remodeled with understated elegance to include an open concept kitchen/great room wrapped in floor to ceiling designer windows which bring the outdoors inside without losing the cozy cabin feeling. Lakeport has the best downtown of any of the cities around the lake. It's just a short drive from all of the best wineries in Lake County's burgeoning AVA's. These are the best views and setting. Guest access In addition to the main house, we have a guesthouse which can sleep up to 5 additional guests. However, the guesthouse is not included in every reservation. It must be requested and paid for additionally, and is subject to availability. The entire house and grounds are open to our guests but the garage and laundry room lock off are off limits.
