Only 5 minutes from downtown Caldwell, 10 minutes from the Sunnyslope string of wineries (including Sawtooth and St. Chappelle). 30 to Boise The space If you're looking for a comfortable, peaceful place to lay your head for the night, enjoy a mid-century modern vibe, and love to be among the trees, this is the place for you. The suite is a freshly renovated space in our current renovation property! Updates like fresh paint and carpet throughout, heated tile floor in the bathroom (perfect in winter!) and plush bedding will make you feel right at home in our home. We are renovators by trade, and love to share our unique properties with guests from all over the world. You will be among the first guests to enjoy "Inn the Trees"--our new Airbnb property-- as we slowly begin to update it. The room provides everything you'll need for a good night sleep-- a comfortable queen size bed, Wifi, and a private bathroom. There is also a private, cozy sitting room in the bedroom next to yours, complete with a new 50" smart TV (Alexa voice-operated!)--so you can have Alexa pull up your favorite shows on Netflix, Amazon Prime and more. Spread out and enjoy the comfy extra-wide, deep couch. Wander the grounds in the evening, or first thing in the morning; you'll love hearing the mourning doves singing in the pines, seeing a covey of quail race across the yard, or picking sunflowers in the garden. Make yourselves at home in our home; grab a cup of coffee in the kitchen and sit out on the deck, or join us in the evening for a glass of wine as we unwind in the back yard with our pets. We've included a few photos of the property which oozes character... like the silver-foil, treed wallpaper that greets you in the entryway, or the white quartz fireplace (rock-climbing wall!) and lodgy tongue-and-groove wood ceilings. Stone and wood and tree themes on the home's interior mirror the outdoor treed acreage; they just don't build houses like this anymore! We've added a redwood deck and are working on freshening up the paint and flooring throughout. We are also slowly replacing all of the fixtures and finishes in the house, but it is a work in progress. Downtown Boise is about 30 minutes away. Guest access Welcome! You'll receive check-in info the day before you arrive. We are often around, and also have a guest suite downstairs, so you may see us or other guests around the property. We look forward to meeting you!
