Welcome! This cheerful, clean and private 1st-floor bedroom is in a restored 1799 farmhouse.We are about halfway between Boston and the Cape Cod Canal and convenient to all major highways. Guests have a private entrance and newly renovated, bedroom/bath suite. Parking, a comfy queen-size bed, and TV are included as well as a fridge, microwave, and Keurig. Plymouth Rock, Plimoth Plantation, and "The Mayflower" are 10-15 minute drive. No cameras on property. We respect your privacy. The space The first-floor bedroom features a vaulted ceiling with a fan/light. Individually controlled gas-fired stove/Fireplace, lots of sunlight (faces south/east), custom block-out window shades for those who like to sleep in, hardwood flooring, and an extra comfortable queen-size canopy bed with a memory foam mattress. I have added a small sofa for reading/working and TV watching. I am happy to set up a Port-A-Crib for any infant/toddler guest. This is a cozy and quiet place to work or relax. Lap desk available. I have FIOS WIFI and a Central Alarm system for security as well as up-to-date fire extinguishers, smoke, and CO2 detectors. Guest access This bath/bedroom suite is entirely separate and private from the owner's space. There is no kitchen access or meals provided but there are plenty of restaurants nearby and I will provide some snacks, water, and the use of an ensuite Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. Washer and dryer may be used with owners’ permission only. Other things to note I am looking forward to hosting guests who like a comfortable, clean, and friendly environment. We have a 7year-old Yellow Lab, Fiona, who is sweet and gentle. Barney a Springer/Poodle mix is her 5 year-old companion. They are friendly, gentle dogs. I have a large indoor Maine Coon Cat, Holly. Our pets do not have access to the guest room. We understand not all guests will love our dogs as we do so we keep them confined to our TV room with a gate when we have guests.
