We have some strict health and cleanliness protocols these days—designed to keep folks safe. We are mature, caring and interested adults who have our finances & health in excellent order. The space You’ll like the quiet at night here, your room is a bit set apart from the rest of the house. The trees and weather are beautiful. The house is elegant but lived in—not much tv, friends come by, but parties are rare. Lots of working from home! Often you’ll walk into a fun and passionate discourse between friends—we are always happy to have you join us and to hear other views... ***There is a Keurig coffee maker inside the room. We do offer a couple of complimentary pods, however, it is up to the guest to purchase coffee pods for the remainder of their stay. *** There is also a small personal fridge inside the room so you can keep perishable foods in there! **We do offer housekeeping (in your private room) every 2 weeks if you want it ** FYI- There is a puppy that lives on property. Please look through the pictures for more information. Guest access Parking is in front of the house on the street, though you should feel free to load/unload from the driveway. We are 2 blocks from a small market, beauty salons and several good restaurants (American, Japanese, Thai & Mexican). You will have access to your room, a semi-private bathroom, gardens, the washer/dryer, and LIGHT kitchen use. You are more than welcome to hang out in the living room and warm yourself next to the gas fireplace or to swim in the pool in summer. Beautiful yard to enjoy and some time on the patio can also be nice! During your stay We are two pleasant middle aged techies with various interests and an easy going teenager who lives here part time. The house is a welcoming environment and at the same time we protect each other's quiet time. Other things to note *For your peace of mind as well as our own, doing a quick video chat to say hi, give you a virtual tour and answer any questions is standard. Some guests may be new to the Airbnb platform and have no ratings, so we respectfully request references (landlord, work and/or social profiles) for a little more insight. Thanks! Also, we'd appreciate if our guests weren't heavy users of the kitchen. You'll have your own coffee maker & fridge, small spaces in the kitchen freezer and drawer. We are a super clean household. (All guest dishes need to be washed (well), dried and put away near the time of use; the kitchen floor, stove or ovens need to be spot cleaned as well.)
