The Cabbage is a cross between a cottage (by a lake) and a cabin (loaded with woodwork). Sleepy Hollow Lake is a unique community in Athens just across the River from the City of Hudson. Quaint Coxsackie is 3 mi. away. Enjoy the best of Hudson Valley food and shopping then bath in nature with paths, beaches, picnic areas, pools, basketball, tennis/pickleball. Plus speedy WiFi! It's a magical paradise on 1.5 acres where the deer roam freely around the grounds as well as bunnies and squirrels. The space The Cabbage has both a front and back deck. It's surrounded by trees, lots of privacy. A spiral staircase leads up the sleeping loft. The kitchen has open cabinets, ample dishes, cookware. There are two small sitting areas ~ one looking out the front and one cozy spot to read, play games or create. The dining table also serves as a work/puzzle table It's small but super functional. Guest access The Cabbage is all yours! The community has a 2.5 mile lake (325 acres) for fishing/kayacking. There are two pools, tennis and basketball courts and paths. A beautiful beach lakeside ~ all available to guests when open. Other things to note The Cabbage is back on Airbnb after a loooong break! Come and enjoy some peace, quiet and wildlife!! I love to spoil my guests with treats! When you arrive, there will be some basics like milk, coffee, tea, juice, oatmeal, butter, jam and some veggie muffins in the freezer.
