We're excited to offer our cosy cabin in the woods to guests. This 2 bed, freshly furnished, log cabin is just 2 miles from Lake Champlain, a ferry to Vermont and Essex Main st. and sleeps 5 adults or a family of 6. It has a wood burning stove, a hot tub, an outdoor fire pit, a croquet field, washer/dryer, kitchen w/ new appliances, renovated bathroom and a soaking tub. It's the perfect place to unplug and relax. (The hot tub doesn’t run from November-March) The space Our beautiful little cottage in the woods is on a 5 acre lot, three minutes from Lake Champlain. It has its own parking area, garden, hot tub(closed November-March), front porch, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a loft that can serve as a third bedroom, washer and dryer, and much more. We are about 30 feet away in a larger main house. The main house is the only other building on the 5 acre lot. The cottage is otherwise completely surrounded by woods. Because we are in the woods, the Wi-Fi is spotty, despite having built-in fiber optic on the property. Because of this, we do not recommend that you come here to work. Instead, it is a great place to unplug and enjoy the natural surrounds. There are incredible hiking trails all around, as well as the beautiful little town of Essex which has cafes, a Tavern, a post office and a couple Restaurants. Essex also has a ferry that goes across the lake to Vermont. Guest access Guests have access to the cottage, its private garden, the attached hot tub(closed November-March), its private front porch and the private parking spaces.
