Sebec Lake provides some of the best fishing in the Great State of Maine so don’t forget your fishing pole! During the evenings pull up a chair around the fire pit and watch an unforgettable sunset behind the mountains. This camp has a secluded feel, with the nearest town, more than 20 minutes away. There's plenty to explore around your rental, with trails bordering the property that lead into Peaks Kenny state park and lake access just a stone’s throw from the front porch. While this cabin is simple, you'll find all the comforts of home here, including a kitchen with a stove, microwave, fridge, and more. The wood stove warms the living room and adds to the cozy ambiance. (A new heat pump with A/C has been installed on the first floor for 2024.) Settle in for a movie night before resting up for tomorrow's adventures. Please note that cell service is spotty out here - prepare accordingly! However, Wifi is available! Updates to the finishes and amenities will be continuing throughout the summer so some pictures may not be up to date. Other things to note Please note there is NO drinking water at the camp as the faucets are lake fed. Also note the camp is on a 4 mile long dirt road (approximately) that can get bumpy during the season. Parking notes: There is free parking for 2 vehicles. No pet(s) are permitted at the camp. Dock details: Docks are seasonal so if your trip is during late September or after, please contact us to make sure the dock is still in the lake if you need it. Please note that the dock is just for fishing, swimming or sitting, and not for mooring a boat. Please also note that the floating dock seen in the pictures is our neighbors and is not available for use. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
