Experience the best of Playa Garza's natural beauty and community The space Beachfront space at Playa Garza - House of Waves Nestled right in the sand, the Beachfront space offers unparalleled access to Playa Garza Beach. This space is part of a fenced-in mini-community of 5 structures, creating a blend of privacy and connection. You’ll have access on the side door (flowers gate), or you can stroll directly onto the beach. The stairs lead down to a perfect spot for sunset watching or lounging under the shade of almond and coconut trees. You can enjoy a shared fire pit and beach sits to see the sunset. Adjacent to the space is the vibrant **House of Waves Shala**—a space for creators, artists and musicians, complete with a beachfront recording studio. Every Thursday evening from 7 pm to 10 pm, enjoy a laid-back, unplugged jam night by the fire, with guests invited to join or simply relax nearby in privacy. The space is peaceful, and noise is kept to a minimum. Our neighbor "Chano" at Soda Tica, arrived to this land by boat 50 years ago, building the restaurant and home with his old Man where he lives to serve the community with fresh fish and breakfast. Our friendly dog roams the property, primarily around the **House of Waves**, providing security and occasionally barking. There is one main bedroom (the cozy van, Queen mattress with AC) and a single mattress on the deck beside the van that can be used for other over night guests or just lounging. With an open air full kitchen you can make your favourite meals. Since this space is right on the beach it is shared with beach nature like monkeys, birds, squirrels, crabs, ants, beautiful insects and very sometimes spiders, The Cozy shack has a roof over the entire shack including a toilet room, a dressing room with hangers and a deck with an ocean view. In the surrounding spaces, we have a fire pit, yoga deck and outside showers. We have a couple of Manduka yoga mats available. During rainy season its possible to surf right in front of the house or walk few minutes and surf an epic wave. My friend is also offering boat surf trips for 20 USD, he'll pick you up in front of the house. It is a sweet experience. Really special space. High vibe by the beach. Immerse in the pura vida culture. Animals and nature all around Sometimes neighbors could be noisy, and sometimes dogs, monkeys or roosters can be heard during the night. Most of the times its super silent. In the kitchen we have a vitamix blender for smoothies and iron pans to keep the body healthy 🌝🥰 Lighting its pretty fun and colorful. We have a massage table available to treat yourself with one of our team or your beloved. Filtered water available on site Outside showers and fresh towels waiting for you. By request, our friend Juan delivers fresh coconut water in recycled bottles While we keep the space clean, being by the beach means you might encounter a few friendly spiders, crabs and bugs—it’s all part of the sharing tropical experience and way less than in the mountains or jungle. It opens until 6:15pm and Wednesday are close. Guest access The Beach Van is the fifth unit (unit 5) of our bamboo-fenced area alongside 4 other structures at the House of Waves. You’ll have shared access through a wooden and flowers gate. Or come directly from the beach. Before your arrival, a key will be placed in the lockbox and our host and partner "Kike" will be there to personally greet you and assist with anything you need during your stay. Please ask for magical experiences or community gatherings. We have printed some offerings that you will find inside the unit. If you want a to-go ceviche or get fresh fish, thats the place. - Super - 7 min walking north (beach or main st): normal local groceries, you can find avocados, fruits, cold drinks. - Blue Garza, 15 min walking north up the street. Organic supermarket, you will find everything you need here, its more expensive but has the best vegetables, fruits and wine.
