Rustic yet Refined the Star Dome brings glamping to a whole new level. Enjoy the expansive deck overlooking the pond and the lavender field while catching a glimpse of the colorful sunset. Get wrapped in the king size bed while enjoying movies from the provided old school dvd player or just looking out at the beautiful view. The dome is centrally located between the Ocoee and Hiawassee rivers, and a quick drive to Benton falls and other points of interests. A great getaway for memory making. The space 💜 SIDE NOTE Lavender season! 💜 We are in lavender season from mid June through mid August. We have lavender you-pick days off and on during this time frame. This will not affect your stay because guests come from another part of the property although you will see us out in the field. Feel free to come pick some lavender and purchase all of the lavender goodies! The dome is a great place to relax and unwind after a long day on the ocoee river or hiking the many trail heads that are within 15 minutes of the dome. It is also a great place to just stay in and do nothing but relax in solitude or cuddle up with a loved one. Internet is available but can be unreliable at times do to the farm extender system that it is on. The Dome is well equipped for cooking as well as grilling and pizza making. The brand new cooling and heating unit will keep you comfortable or cozy depending on the season you are here. The Dome is located on Shabo Farm in Benton TN. You can enjoy the farm animals (2 horses and 2 donkeys) as well as 30 plus acres to explore. The pond is under construction at the moment but will soon be stocked for fishing. The lavender field is dormant in the months of Aug-early June and then starts to bloom mid June and early July. The Farm is expanding with other points of interests coming soon! Guest access The property is open to explore. BEWARE There is an electric fence that is active between the lavender and the horse field. Other things to note 💜Get booked early for next years Lavender season! 💜 When down in the field be aware of the white rope fence. It is an active electric fence. Although it will not harm you if you touch it you could feel a zap. ⚡️
