This apartment is in downtown Fredericksburg and is nestled in a quiet neighborhood that is a few blocks walking distance to the vibrant downtown commercial scene, so you won't hear noise at night. The bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser, comfortable easy chair, and walk-in closet with extra linens and towels, and you'll find a sofa bed in the living room. Full washer/dryer inside the apartment, full kitchen with everything you could possibly need, full bathroom with tub/shower combo, very inviting front porch with rocking chairs to sit with morning coffee or glass of wine. You'll find an abundance of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, art galleries, yoga studios downtown. We even provide you with a yoga mat for your use during your stay. Visit the numerous historic sites such as George Washington's mother's house or take a trolley ride to the various places that hold historic significance. Want a quaint experience? Take a horse & carriage ride down Caroline Street, the town's main commercial street lined with coffee shops, restaurants, and eclectic shops. You are literally staying in the spot where the famous Civil War Battle of Fredericksburg took place in 1862. Also nearby is the Heritage Trail where you can jog or walk along the tree-lined canal.
