Read our “Why” in the other details section :) The space A casual lakeside suite with lots of amenities! We pride ourselves on cleanliness, sanitation, and providing guest comfort. There is 1 private bedroom with a very comfortable queen bed, luxury linens, streaming TV, desk with docking station, and walk-in closet. 1 very new queen sized sofa bed in common area that sleeps great! 1 bunk bed with a twin over full that sleeps 3 smaller ones or 1 adult on the bottom in the common area. No adults on top bunk. *Let us know if you need the bunk bed prepared with linens. Otherwise, it may be set up as a futon couch. The kitchen includes dish soap, napkins, paper towels, spices, a bag of coffee and coffee making supplies including a grinder. There is a microwave and a convection oven for pizzas or light baking/toasting. Grocery delivery via Instacart is also available. We can even stock the kitchen with your grocery deliveries before you arrive. :) Lake towels and some floats/noodles will be provided for your stay. We want you to have a great time! All windows and doors have cordless privacy and light filtering blinds with pull down tabs for a good night sleep or daytime nap. The accommodation is located on the lower level of a 3 story home. There are 3 steps and a long gradual slope without a handrail to get to the entry door located on the lakeside (back) of the property. All specific details with guiding photos will be sent in your welcome email. The rental may not be suitable for those requiring mobility tools. *We have a neighborhood quiet time from 10pm-8am so we require adherence to that policy. If you’re looking for somewhere to have a party, this rental is not going to be the right fit for you. Excessively loud music or other neighborly disturbances will not be tolerated. Guest access You will receive a welcome email prior to check-in with details on accessing the rental including your door code. The bottom floor patio is completely yours to enjoy as well as the lounging area with chairs along the seawall and both levels of the dock. You are welcome to bring any large floats (bring your own tie off ropes) that you'd like to enjoy in the lake! *Boat tie off to the dock is included in your stay. Other things to note *We have a friendly family dog who will probably want to say hi to you! We will keep him out of your way as much as possible, but he will not be locked up 100% from the yard unless requested. He is non-shedding and hypo-allergenic. *No pets allowed due to us having a pet onsite. *We have non-cable TVs only and provide full access to YouTube TV (I’m told has “all the sports”) and Netflix. You can sign in to your own streaming accounts from any TV. Our Real Why? Why we rent our lower walkout level? 😇 I (Katie) have chosen not to return to my Engineering career after the sudden passing of my sister last year. I help care for my 2 teenage nieces however and whenever they need me (dance aunt and cheer aunt😄 keeps me busy!). Their dad is amazing, but I like to help with all the girlie things! I also love being able to be available for my parents through this time, and care for our own son. This rental helps us supplement our home expenses while I’m not employed.
