It's very conveniently located near restaurants, stores, services and I-90/39. All area hospitals, major corporations, Downtown Rockford and local attractions are all 20 mins away at the most. The space Welcome to the B&B's at CherryVale: Nicely appointed units with comfort and privacy in an unbeatable East Rockford location. Barber Shop Suite- It's one of the most unique Airbnb's ever! An authentic vintage Barbershop that was formerly my father's, with nearly 50 years of history. Now it's a fully-equipped private studio/suite! Very charming, cozy and full of original decor and character! There is a comfy adjustable double bed that sleeps 2, a leather loveseat, a beautiful antique pedestal sink, a mini kitchen and a full bath with shower. This is the smallest of 4 separate units all on the same property. This suite can also be an adjoining suite to Unit 2 (see separate Airbnb listing). The Barbershop Suite with 280 sq. ft. is self-sufficient, private and cozy (about the size of a larger hotel room). It's ideal for 1 person, but there is enough room for 2 people and a small child. There is a cube storage unit for clothes. There is no closet, but there is an area to hang a few things. The mini kitchenette has everything you need to cook in the space — a 2 burner hotplate, toaster/convection oven, a microwave, pots & pans, etc. The double bed is very comfortable, has an adjustable mattress and quality linens. The wifi is very fast and there’s a desk to set up on should you need to get some work done. Curl up on the leather love seat and watch your favorite streaming shows and movies. There is a newly remodeled bathroom with a full sized shower. Laundry facilities are also located in the shared laundry room adjacent to the unit. You'll have your own access for security. In addition to the area being very safe and well lit, there are added layers of protection with a Ring alarm system in the Rear Unit, exterior cameras and local police and sheriff being in very close proximity. With 9 years of hosting experience as an Airbnb Superhost, my goal is to anticipate my guest's every need for the best Airbnb stay ever! Guest access Guests have access to the entire suite, the shared laundry room and the front yard. Off-limit areas are labeled as such and/or locked off. Other things to note For long term stays an additional security deposit may be required. Unfortunately, I do not commit to short term stays (3 days or more) several months in advance. Ask about an additional discount for stays more than 30 days. SORRY NO OTHER DISCOUNTS OUTSIDE THE WEEKLY DISCOUNT FOR UNDER 30 DAYS (the price as quoted by Airbnb includes the 10% weekly and 20% monthly discounts). PETS: Overall we have a no pets policy. Small pets under 60 lbs will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be charged a $25/nt or $100/mo per animal fee. Service animals may require documentation of proof. Support animals will require a filled out questionnaire as well as documentation. A final walk-through will also be required prior to departure. Regardless of classification type, guests are responsible for any damage or extensive cleaning due to their animals. This may be in addition to the $250 security deposit, which will not be returned depending on the severity of the damage.
