This bright, cozy coach house is your ideal base in Oak Park. It was originally the coachman's quarters behind a 1909 Prairie-style house, now converted into guest lodging with all the modern amenities above a detached garage. The coach house is at the end of a long driveway (free parking included!) on a quiet street, in the heart of the Frank Lloyd Wright district, a short walk from trains to downtown Chicago. The space The coach house is set up as a stand-alone studio apartment, complete with a private bathroom, bedroom, living space, and kitchen. The bathroom is enclosed and the rest is set up as an open area, with a partial dividing wall between the bedroom and living area. The living area has a futon couch that folds down into a bed for a third guest (or second guest sleeping separately). Guest access The guest space is private, with a separate entrance door in the front of the detached garage. Guests are also welcome to share our back yard and fire pit area (we live in the main house).
