You can grab a bite at the restaurants across the way or cook in the cabin’s fully stocked kitchen/bbq. Cozy up to a fire pit/fireplace in the evening. Centrally located to explore everything the Poconos has to offer The space The living room has an indoor wood-burning fireplace with logs included and central oil heating for the house. The living room has a large Roku TV with streaming and board games. NEW higher speed internet. There are 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed and a closet, desk, tower fan, and a smart TV. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a top twin bed, a bottom double bed, and a twin trundle bed, tower fan, and a smart tv. The bathroom has been recently updated and has a walk in shower. The kitchen has a coffee and tea bar with regular coffee, decaf coffee, assorted teas, and creamer. The bar has an electric tea kettle, coffee pot, pour over coffee carafe, French press, & barware. The kitchen has bar seating and a dining room space. The outside space has a propane BBQ grill, fire pit (wood logs included), picnic table and string lights. We also have 2 inflatable stand up paddle boards for guests to use at the lake. Guest access There is lake access about a 4 minute walk from the home. We are not located directly on the lakefront. The lake is a public grassy area where you are able to swim, picnic, and relax. We include two inflatable stand up paddle boards for the lake. You can also bring your kayaks and our stand up paddle boards and launch from there. Other things to note We are located 1.6 miles from Split Rock's Waterpark, 0.7 mi from Big Boulder Ski Resort, and 3.8 mi from Jack Frost. We are 9.7 miles away from Hickory State Run Park. We are also steps away (less than 1 mile) from many restaurants and 17 miles to shopping and dining at Jim Thorpe. 2 inflatable stand up paddle boards are included with the stay and subject to weather. Must be 18 years or older to use. Additionally, guests must sign a waiver if they want to use the stand up paddle boards during their stay. Although we do have WiFi within the home, we are located in a rural area. We are not responsible for any wifi shortages out of our control. Please note that charcuterie boards, donuts, and wine are not included with your stay. Note: We have private parking located directly in front of the home. Please note that parking is limited to two vehicles only. The parking space can accommodate either one sedan and one larger vehicle or two sedans only. Snow removal during guests stay will be at the discretion/responsibility of guests; host can provide snow removal if necessary at a possible additional fee.
