We offer a Brand New 2 Bedroom Cottage on the South Island that is just a short 5 minute bike ride South of the main town area and 10 minute ride to "The Split." We welcome people of all ethnic backgrounds and diversities and hope you have a lovely stay with us. The space The Lily Pad is located on the South Island just 5 minutes from the main town area and 10 minutes from the popular "Split & Lazy Lizard" area. It is only a short walk from the village, yet far enough away to enjoy real peace and quiet. We are not directly on the Beach or Waterfront but it is never a long way to go to get there as the Island is only 1 Mile wide. The neighborhood is very safe and the Cottage was completed in March 2019 so it is a fairly new cottage with lots of amenities. 1x (5 Gallon) Jug of water is included with a 2-4 night stay, 2x (5 Gallon) Jugs of water are included with a 5 night stay (or longer). Extra jugs are $3.50 USD. A/C in both bedrooms, and ceiling fans throughout the House. A full-size fridge, gas stove/oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker are also at your disposal. For a 3 night stay or longer, we offer a complimentary pick-up service from the Ferry terminal or Airstrip to get you and your luggage to our cottage and 4 complimentary Bicycles are provided for our guests as well. There are currently 56 Golf cart taxi services on the Island or you can choose to rent your own Golf Cart while you are here. We do not cover the return taxi trip but if you let us know the time of check-out and when you need to depart, we will arrange the taxi pick-up for you. We are also Gold Standard Certified so you have have piece of mind when staying with us. We hope you will enjoy your stay with us! Guest access You will have the whole cottage to yourself for the duration of your stay. Other things to note ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* There is also a mandatory 9% Belize Hotel/Government Occupancy tax that is included in your booking. We submit this tax to the Belize Tourism Board every month. Once you book, that is the price you pay and there will be no other "surprise fees" as everything is included in your booking price. The cottage is normally suitable for up to 4 guests but if needed, we can host up to 5 people Any additional guests will incur a $40/night charge and taxes as well.
