We are located within the Snowshoe Highlands International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) Ride Center and Monongahela National Forest, & are now featuring the 27-mile Monday Lick Trail System of single-track bike optimized trails that connect directly to downtown Marlinton. We are located just a block away from The Greenbrier River, as well as, The 77 mile long Greenbrier River Trail. Hop on your bikes or jump in your kayak & you’ll be on your way! There is a spacious back yard for children to play or pets to roam. The yard is completely fenced in with privacy fence! There is also a back deck with a grille, where you and your family and friends can enjoy a relaxing evening. The large kitchen is fully equipped & great for hosting. We have a Keurig single cup coffee pot! All linens/towels/toiletries/kitchen utensils & equipment will be provided. There is a washer/dryer/dish washer on site, however, dish washer pods & laundry soap/pods are not provided. I do, however, provide dawn dish soap. WIFI & TV (Netflix) are provided! Guest access Guests have access to the entire property. Other things to note PET POLICY: We enjoy meeting & hosting your pets just as much as we enjoy meeting & hosting you. After-all, they are a part of the family. However, we do charge a $150 non-refundable pet fee, due to the excess amount of pet hair that comes with pets, we must spend more time deep cleaning the home than what we would with guests with no pets. This is a flat fee & includes up to 2 pets. Any additional pets after that will be an additional $50 charge. We ask that you simply mention you are bringing your fur baby along & we will make the appropriate adjustments needed to book, if you have not already done so in the booking process. If you do have pets, dogs specifically, & are contemplating other Airbnb’s in the area you should know that Dean’s Retreat has a nice fenced in yard for those of you who want to allow your pets to roam off the leash worry free, as well as an outbuilding with a doggy door where your pet can get in out of the weather. There are also food/water bowls, dog beds, crates & treats! We by no means discourage pets, we just ask that you be mindful of your pets behaviors & remember they are guests in the house the same as you are.
