It opens onto Lakeview Lawn with a Firepit, Lawn Chairs and a swing; great for kids. This is one of Two Private Apartment Listings in our Large Farmhouse. Stretch Out in the Large Open Space, and Enjoy Lake and Garden Views from the Windows. There is a sitting area on the lawn, with a Firepit and a Lakeview swing. The common space has a pull-out sofa, with a comfy topper; there is a full kitchen equipped well for cooking, a dining table, a desk, a bookcase, toys, and games. A portion of the open living space has a drop ceiling to note for taller folks. There is a 2nd bonus room set up for kids, and adults as well; it has a trundle bed and the full queen-size blowup; this bonus room is still in progress and It's available to use, but please be mindful that it is not listed as bedroom and still finishing it out, and thank you for not leaving feedback on the review about it. The master bedroom is large and can be set up with kids alongside parents as well. Guest access Guests have use of the private lawn area with/ great views of a big field and lake. There is a fire pit in front on the Lakeview Lawn. Please inquire about purchasing wood/starter logs and there's plenty to forage. There is also a George Foreman grill. Just ask and we'll leave it near the front door for you. Woodland trails and fields, with streams throughout the property; walk down to the lake. There are wading pools in the streams for all ages; cool water to soak your feet. :) Please feel free to request an animal tour, a foraging tour, or any other requests. Learn about chickens, bunnies, and our vermiculture worm farm, composting methods for gardening. Fresh eggs are available in season. **Please do not go into the barns unaccompanied, as there can be items to cause harm to young children, and animals can get out. Other things to note Local farms for produce and meat seasonal; berry picking and a farmer's market on Saturday in summer/fall. See the guidebook for a list of farms & markets. On the farm, there can be coyotes howling, frogs croaking, crickets and tree frog noises, deer sounds, geese honking, and critters crawling from our forest here. We choose not to use harsh chemicals to eradicate some of the ordinary farm critters, so you may see an occasional stink bug, or cricket as the season changes..., which are harmless. We aim to keep everyone's lungs healthy! Chemicals can cause asthma, among other things. We clean thoroughly and check closely, but they can visit. Please let me know if you encounter any unwanted critters we can help remove. Thank you. There are free-roaming animals on the farm, as well as other guests. Please see house rules and manual in the house upon entry, for more details. Ex: Walk dogs in fields and woods only, not on lawns. Pick up all droppings. Do not leave pets unattended in the house. (Arrange a dog crate or ask about stalls in the barn. If we are here, we are happy to pet sit friendly dogs). No barking-type dogs!
