Come relax, unwind & enjoy our peaceful woods & wildlife🐾Located approx 1 hour to DC & 1/2 hr to Dulles ✈️ The space 🌳 The 100 Acre Wood cabin was custom designed by our family as the ultimate private wooded retreat! We are less than a 1/2 mile from Tarara! Come and enjoy all the local attractions!! Including several local summer concert venues!! 🍷🎵🎵 It is a very special spot. It was designed as an escape from the chaos of busy everyday life. 100 Acre Wood is a place to relax, recharge, unplug and be still. It is a place to take in the wooded surroundings & enjoy the sounds of nature! Our A-Frame cabin is filled with unique custom, one of a kind features! We love our property and spent many hours designing our dream A frame cabin. We are excited to share it with our guests ! 🌳 Thecabin will have light holiday decorations, including a Christmas tree with lights ❄️🌲❄️ 🏹 If you are interested in a hunting experience, or a local shooting range/ 🎯 target practice or an introduction to shooting range experience, please contact the host for information. We offer a variety of “experiences” on local wildlife tours or a local hunting or shooting range experience. 🔴 We are also happy to provide local references for Potomac River kayak tours! 🌊 🚣🏻‍♂️ 🔴 We provide all linens, basic kitchenware (plates, bowls, glasses, cups, coffee cups, silverware, basic pots and pans, basic pantry items & one cup coffee maker & coffee pods. 🚭 ** NO SMOKING OR VAPING ** SMOKING AND VAPING ARE ABSOLUTELY, STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN THE CABIN AND ON THE PROPERTY ‼️ ANY VIOLATION OF THIS POLICY WILL FORFEIT GUESTS ENTIRE💲 SECURITY DEPOSIT!! LOCAL EXPERIENCES: 🟠 ⛷🏂🎿 We are located about one hour from Ski Liberty and Whitetail Ski resorts! ❄️❄️❄️ 🟠 Please contact us if you would like information on a hunting experience. Experiences are catered to experienced and new hunters. 🟠 Interested in a shooting range experience? There is a shooting range nearby that offers both new and experienced shooters a place to practice. 🏹🎯 🟠 When the weather is suitable, kayaking on the Potomac River is absolutely beautiful and a super fun, close by activity!! We can also provide information to guests on kayak rental and kayak tour information . 🌊🚣🏻‍♂️ 🟠 Guests also enjoy hiking and biking on the C&O Canal and on the WO&D trail. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️ 🟠 Local hikers also love Sugarloaf Mountain, in Maryland, near the Point of Rocks bridge. This is a is a local favorite and makes a nice day hike. 🟠 The Appalachian Trail is also close by and a favorite for experienced hikers. You can choose a short hike or a long hike with switch backs. (Be sure to pack water) ⛰️🏃🏾💦 Guest access * campfire area * quiet woods * private setting * covered front porch * covered balcony off queen loft bedroom * gas bbq grill & bbq tools PLEASE WEAR BLAZE VESTS IF WALKING THROUGH THE PROPERTY. * PLEASE*** remember that this is a very wooded setting and some wildlife (mostly small animals) sighting are to be expected. * PLEASE BEWARE *** Because this is a wooded setting - the occasional critter, bugs and spiders are to be expected from time to time. We have a great pest control company- but want guests to be aware that it is possible to see then during your stay. Other things to note 🔴 Guests should be aware that the cabin has a STEEP LADDER / STEPS that lead to the bedroom loft area. This is the only access to the bedroom area. The first floor sofa has a pull out bed if guests wish to use it. If guests have ANY mobility issues the cabin is NOT a good choice. NO guests with mobility issues should ever use the ladder. 🔴 Bugs, spiders, critters, animals and wildlife ect are all part of the wooded environment. 🔴 The cabin is remote and is heavily wooded. If there is a big storm, there may be electricity interruption. This is rare, but does occasionally occur. There is a flash light for guests use in case of an outage. ** If an outrage does occur, please let the host know ASAP. 🔴 NO candles are permitted at the cabin. 🔴 NO pets are allowed in the cabin or on the property. 🔴 Absolutely NO SMOKING OR VAPING OF ANY KIND in the cabin! 🚭 Guests will be charged for any trace of smoking in the cabin! 🔴 The guest count for any amount of people on the property must match the reservation at all times or the booking will be immediately terminated immediately! 🔴 Guests are responsible for extinguishing/ “putting out” any campfires immediately after use. 🔴 This Reservation is managed by SR Transaction LLC, a management company, any and all disputes are with Airbnb and SR Transactions LLC, the management company and no one else for any reasons.
