(STR LICENSE: NED011) The space The Rainbow Cabin is an updated and well-appointed 2-story home with cozy modern comforts. Named after both the trim color of the house, as well as the array of Colorado (Spanish for "colorful") colors that surround the property year-round. The master and spare bedrooms and a full bathroom with stand-in shower are on the upper floor. The lower floor is host to the living space, kitchen, second full bath with clawfoot tub and laundry room. Occupancy is up to 4 adults - children 12 and under stay for free! No need to add them as additional guests. Please let us know if you will be traveling with children or dogs. There is a $50 pet cleaning fee due prior to arrival. We respect those that have resided here before us and recognize this area as the unceded homelands of the Tsitsistas (Cheyenne), Inuna’Ins & Hinono’eiteen (Arapaho) & Núuchiu (Ute). Guest access Summer months are generally cool and quiet at the property. Enjoy the sounds of song birds and a cool mountain breeze through the windows. In the winter months, cozy up to the natural wood stove when the snow flies. Downtown Nederland is just a 5-minute walk away where coffeeshops, bakeries, restaurants, craft stores, museums, and historic pubs and bars can be found. National Forest trailheads await just beyond, leading to the Indian Peaks Wilderness. Some of the most popular books of the 21st century, along with cards and board games, can all be found and enjoyed in the cabin. Guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer in the house laundry room. For those that are proficient at managing a fire during colder months, guests can use the wood-burning stove in the living space, the heart of the common area. Wood is stocked in the back of the house. Other things to note Please note, we have chosen not to provide a TV intentionally, in order to provide a healing space for rest, rejuvenation, social and nature connection. Wifi is available in the home. A plethora of books, games and the like have been provided for entertainment. Cell phone coverage is limited to AT&T, Verizon & T-Mobile only. Guests with other carriers will want to be sure to have quick access to the wifi log-in pass codes located in your reservation confirmation itinerary. There is one off-street parking spot that guests are welcome to use in front of the garage. 2 smaller vehicles may be able to fit one behind the other. If you have additional or very large vehicles, please inquire with the hosts on where to park them. On-street parking in front of the house is NOT allowed due to town road maintenance regulations.
