The space By staying here you will get: - A private & heated relaxation pool (open for the season until September 15; 2024) - An indoor (with a view) brand new salt-water hot tub (2021) - Direct access to the forest and mountain views from the master bedroom and garden - Complete privacy and all the serenity that nature provides - Ability to reach popular hiking trails, Stratton ski slopes or the Green Mountain National Forest with a few minute drive - High Speed Internet tested and validated for Working From Vermont And most importantly... - All the proceeds from your stay will go towards upgrading this oasis to be fully energy efficient (and hopefully independent) within the next few years In 2021 we have: - Replaced our roof with brand new and high grade materials to eliminate heat loss - Installed very high efficiency heat-pump based heating & cooling system throughout the house - Reviewed and upgraded the electrical system where necessary - Installed a brand new filter system for the pool - Installed a high efficiency heating system for the pool - Added a sun cover to eliminate heat loss at night - Hand-built a smokeless outdoor fire pit and acquired re-cycled material seating set We are still planning to: - Install solar panels to reduce or completely eliminate electrical grid needs Please let us know if you have any suggestions! Other things to note If you have an emotional support animal, please let us know before bringing it to our property.
