The space This is a one-of-a-kind vacation home located on the Hudson River. The upstairs has a master bedroom (queen size bed) facing the Hudson; two guest bedrooms (each with a full size bed); and a large bathroom facing the Hudson with shower and clawfoot tub. The main floor is an open plan with a living area, dining area, and fully-equipped kitchen (with stove/microwave, toaster oven, food processor, stand mixer, and wide range of pots, pans, and utensils. a 10'x30' screened in porch has a large dining table and comfortable chairs to relax with a full river view. Guest access You will have access to the main floors of the house plus the basement for the washer and dryer, as well as the backyard and beach. The beach is lovely and the Hudson is rated swimmable. The Hudson is also an active shipping river, and you will see giant barges coming up and down the river. (They are too big to stop for swimmers and kayakers/canoers, so it is important to stay out of the center of the river.) Please exercise caution if you do swim, and remember that all activities are at the guests' own risk. Other things to note The Hudson River is rated swimmable in Coxsackie. However, your use of the river is entirely at your own risk.
