The space Solar-heated pool inside a secure, gated community in Playa La Mision, Baja California, South of Rosarito and La Fonda, north of Ensenada. The area is quiet, gated, and nestled between mountains and the beach. Casa Grande is an entire floor of our home. It is a large three bedroom, two bath apartment that sleeps 8. This is a very special home with a 100 year old STEINWAY PIANO. Also has an antique wardrobe and Roll Top Desk. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds, the third bedroom is a sitting room with two twin beds that can be made up separately or as an additional queen bed. There are two beautifully tiled private baths and balcony with an ocean view. The large living area has a daybed that can sleep two more as separate twin beds or as a king bed. Steps from the beach and less than five minutes away from activities such as horseback riding, ultralight flying, dancing, karaoke, boogie boarding, surfing, biking, hiking, and yoga. The solar heated pool is covered, making it very warm and great for doing laps. An old fashioned, claw foot bath tub can be used for soaking away sore muscles and tension. Wonderful restaurants in the area with excellent food and low prices ranging from the world-famous “La Fonda” , "Poco Cielo" , "La Mision Hotel" "Splash" and "Magañas only minutes away. 30 minutes up the road are the Rosarito Beach restaurants like "Suzannes", "Papas and Beer" and much much more.. The cosmopolitan sea port of Ensenada is just a 40 minute drive south along some of the most beautiful coastline in the world. A forty minute drive in-land takes you into the Valle de Guadalupe where winery after winery beckons you to sample their world class wines. Our home is in La Mision, a very friendly small-village atmosphere where people seem to know each-other and welcome new-found friends. Cool ocean breezes keep the temperature comfortable - even in mid- summer you never need air conditioning. We are in a gated community and the guest rooms have screened windows and decorative security bars". This is a unique and fun place!
