Getting away from busy life, or celebrating special occasions, our lovely BEACH Crystal will help you make memories. Close to all dining, surfing, beach activities, wineries, gorgeous sunsets & starry nights. The Crystal is a perfect place to romance, play and have fun. We are in the beautiful Playa La Mision. Unlike other rocky beaches around us, we have a sandy beach that is described by our local Mexican friends "as one of the prettiest beaches in Baja" and you will be RIGHT ON IT. The space You will fall in love with this ROMANTIC & SECLUDED Studio (Crystal) the minute you step in. Decorated in poetry with the surrounding ocean and beach, with lots of Spanish charm, peaceful and relaxing, with the intention to offer you a contrast from your busy urban environment. And to top that...the beach is steps from your bed. If you want your friends to join you we have another smaller studio on the property "BEACH STUDIO (Casita) - Playa La Mision" for 2 guests, with trundle type beds, here is the link (airbnb will not activate the link, please try to look it up): http://Airbnb.com/h/bajacasitastudio Waking up in the morning and sipping your fresh brewed coffee while sitting at the deck, with your sweetheart beside you, enjoying the ocean breezes and the sounds of the waves, and watching the birds, dolphins and what ever swims by, will take you away from the bustling urban life as far as you can imagine...and more... Our community is surrounded by mountains and the ocean which create a unique and captivating setting. We are a quiet gated community with 24 hour guard in the North section of Baja California, 45 miles South of San Diego border (Playa La Mision). Located next to La Fonda restaurant and between Rosarito and Ensenada. Guest access Summer, Fall, Winter or Spring...Come and enjoy our secluded, and more often private sandy beach, and with the adjoining clean, clear and sparkling ocean, you will have a lovely place to play, jog, swim, surf or boogie board, horseback ride, play ball, or just lay around. Don't forget to bring your sun screen. Start the day with a memorable early morning beach walk (if the tide is out, you can take the beach walk north to the restaurants and have breakfast) Poco Cielo has nice American breakfast, Original La Fonda, or Gary's La Fonda, offer a variety of Mexican breakfasts. And, end the day with watching a memorable sunset at the deck while sipping your favorite wine... maybe you get lucky and see the green flash! There is a Tamale Lady (Aurora, her husband drives her in a white small car) who comes around Saturday, Sunday and Monday and sells Chicken and Pork Tamale ($1/pc), we love her delicious Chicken Tamales and take some to LA with us, if you are a Tamale fan...don't miss out, and may be bring a small icebox and ice packs to take some home. 45 minutes away is one of our favorite wine valleys (Valle de Guadalupe), the drive is as pretty as the destination. Yumillitious wine and food offerings of all price range. You can find a lot of information on the internet regarding the wineries or restaurants including reviews, photos, and menus, so you can make an early selection to your liking, or you can go the adventure and discover rout. There are also several places to go dancing on the weekend, Gary's La Fonda is the closest, Ruben may have a band, Splash, and sometimes Baja Calypso. Baja Calypso is at the famous KM 38 surfing spot where you can have a meal at the outdoor terrace while watching the surfers take on the waves. Also, check out the local art scene through few galleries in the area. Ensenada has a lot of offerings as well; shopping, budget and fine dining, sightseeing, a big fish market, and few art galleries...And lots of night life. Always keep in mind that taxi service is available for a very reasonable cost, you can inquire with the guard at the gate, if you are planning to enjoy lots of drinking, it is a good option. There are few small grocery stores in the La Mision village right south of us, Oscar is one of them, where you will be able to get basic needs. There are many OXXO stores (similar to 711) very close to our gated community where you can also get basic needs. Other things to note We also have another separate smaller Studio "BEACH STUDIO (Casita) - Playa La Mision" on the property with ocean view and it sleeps 2 (trundle type beds), so let us know if you are interested in reserving both Studios. We have a CD player in the studio, if you would like to bring your CDs, but there is also internet so you can listen to your favorite internet Radio. Please note NO PETS, we love them, but our studio has a no pet rule. 1. Bring your shampoo and conditioner. We provide soap and dish soap, toilet paper and paper towels. We don't provide hair dryer. 2. Bring your favorite coffee or tea, creamer, sugar, etc...we have a coffee maker. 3. you can cook in the unit, we have dishes, pots and pans, stove-oven, microwave and a nice size fridge. please bring your favorite oil with you or buy it here (the vegetable oil here has no GMO, so we buy it here and take it with us to the states), also the wine valley has delicious varieties of olive oil, you may want to take some home. 4. We provide linens, bathroom towels, beach towels, blankets, beach chairs and umbrella. We provide an iron and small iron board. 5. We provide 5-gallons of drinking water, please DO NOT drink tap water, or brush your teeth with tap water. 6. This is a very friendly community, please be respectful to our neighbors, they are our friends. 7. Please note there is a restriction on the amount of alcohol you can take back to the United States.
