Guests visiting us in Mount Vernon often fall in love with the convenience and walkability of this location - whether you’re a contract nurse here for a few months at one or our many hospitals in the city (the Johns Hopkins Shuttle stop for students and staff is just a 5 minute walk) or a Peabody Conservatory student or professor (also a 5 minute walk), or just visiting the city for fun or loved ones - you’ll find you are in the center of one of the cities main cultural districts. The space The apartment itself has a spacious layout with tall ceilings and windows, queen size bed, tons of storage for our long term guests, a bathroom with combo shower/tub, an Apple TV in the bedroom for streaming and a Roku in the living room as well and WiFi is included for our remote workers. The kitchen is small, but does have a refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven, essential dishes and utensils and a small dishwasher so you can cook delicious meals from home while you relax and watch your favorite Netflix movie. The oversized windows provide tons of natural light and zoned A/C and heat in the bedroom and living areas allows you to set the temperature to your preference in each room. The apartment has ground floor access with living room windows that overlook Park Ave and quiet bedroom windows look out to a secured outside area in the rear of our building. Bringing your own car? Private Parking may be available for $160/month or $10/day. Please inquire at time of booking. Guest access The whole apartment is all yours. You will have complete privacy and plenty of space to roam or pace. Other things to note COVID-19: As the world is grappling with the pandemic we are trying to do our small part to keep our guests safe and comfortable. Our apartments are fully disinfected using products recommended by CDC - including products with at least 60% alcohol content. We also use the sanitary setting on our washing machines to sterilize all sheets and towels between guests. We also have plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, and other essentials in stock. It helps that our apartments are located in small historical buildings where a lack of elevators and a handful of recognizable neighbors create for a safe and caring community.
