Enjoy your own personal A-Frame cabin tucked away in the mountains of the Carrabassett Valley. The Maine Frame is a private getaway with easy access to Sugarloaf Ski Resort, numerous hiking trails, unique local eateries, and multiple lakes and rivers for kayaking in Maine’s Western Mountains & Lakes Region. The cabin features high-speed internet for streaming movies on rainy nights, quick access to Kingfield for food and supplies, and a large wooden deck for lounging and entertaining at home. The space The Maine Frame is a cozy yet modern take on camp living with the charm of rustic features but with the comforts of present-day amenities. The main floor benefits from a full kitchen (fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig machine), a living area with a large couch and electric fireplace as well as separate reading and eating areas, an updated bathroom, and the largest bedroom with a queen size mattress. The upstairs has two bedrooms— one with another queen mattress, and the other with a Twin XL mattress, personal desk space, large window for views, and an added vinyl record player. The Maine Frame also has a newly installed standby generator, so you can have uninterrupted peace of mind during occasional power outages. The property extends down to the Carrabassett River below and features a large deck, a private fire pit with log benches, and enough flat land to enjoy lawn games or lounging under the stars. Guest access You have access to the main floor, upstairs, and entire outside property. (However, please refrain from accessing the main floor closet and the basement areas unless otherwise directed.)
