The space This house was built on an an old dairy farm. It is situated on a hilltop and is the perfect spot to enjoy the views and nature. Dressel Farms is one lot over and offers Apple Picking, Hard Cider, Pumpkins and plenty of fresh produce. Walk down to the hill and you will find a path leading to the rail trail, which leads to nearby towns. Walk or bike to downtown New Paltz to enjoy the shops and restaurants or continue on to the River to Ridge Trail that leads you to the Mohonk Preserve. Just off the trail you can tour historic Huguenot Street and take a stroll through the Nyquist-Harcourt Wildlife Sanctuary. Or head south toward Gardiner and swing by the Yard Owl Craft Brewery. We are surrounded by beautiful mountains that offer endless hiking and biking. The house itself offers electric heat and central air conditioning in each room. There are newly refinished hardwood floors throughout the house. The kitchen is all brand new. A long custom built kitchen island with a beautiful piece of granite divides the living space and allows for storage and plenty of counter height seating. The kitchen offers a dishwasher, electric range and hood vent, as well as a microwave, toaster, coffee pot, electric tea kettle, Ninja Blender and NutriBullet. There is plenty of dinnerware, pots, pans and cooking dishes. The old farmhouse table is perfectly situated in a breezeway for everyone to enjoy the views and sunsets. It also makes an amazing workspace during the day. Each of the bedrooms have side tables, ceiling fans, plenty of closet space and comfortable beds. High speed internet works throughout the house and will support work from home. A smart TV is mounted in the living room next to the fireplace and is connected to the internet. A centrally located laundry room offers a full size washer and dryer. There are three bedrooms on one side of the house next to a beautifully tiled bathroom with a walk in shower. A large ensuite bedroom is situated at the other end of the house that also has its own entrance. This house is flooded with natural light and regardless of the weather, it offers the most amazing views all day long. Sit on the back patio, relax and take in the beauty of mother nature. There is a large aluminum door at ground level, just off the back patio. This area is where all of the house mechanicals are located. Entry is strictly prohibited and alarmed. The wood shed is not for guest use. You will be provided with wood to utilize for your stay, which will be in a wood holder outside the back patio door. Please do not allow children to play in or around the wood shed. Other things to note We are pet friendly, but charge an additional $75 per animal. You must indicate you are bringing a pet or we are not covered for potential damage.
