This little cabin was a labor of love for our family. It’s a mix of new remodel and old cabin authenticity. It’s a coat of many colors and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. My brother and I decided to take on a project together and with the help of our beloved spouses we took this little diamond in the rough to its current prime. We have plans to continue the vision and make more space, but for now, we’re ready to share our accomplishment with you. The space It’s approx 900 sq ft 3BR 1.5 BA (2 BR and 1 Laundry room with some space for overflow beds). We've listed this property as being able to sleep 6 comfortably... this lil cabin is likely better suited for 4 adults and 2 kids on air mattresses in the 3rd room (laundry room). If you have 8 people it will be a bit cozy, but it is possible with a queen mattress in the living room. Just read through the details and make sure it fits your expectations before signing up. If you have up to 8 adults, it’s okay with us – just make sure you understand the sleeping arrangements, and be sure to take care and respect of our little cabin. We make it work and LOVE it!! Sleeping Arrangement details: Two BR's have really comfy queen beds. We travel a lot so comfy beds are important. The 3rd room (laundry room) is where we typically put the little ones. The laundry room can fit two twin mattresses or a twin and a pack-n-play. This is where the kids camp out - pile them in. Keep in mind, the laundry room isn’t glamorous, but its super clean. :) The living room will hold a queen air mattress - this is if you need overflow. You can move the couch back and put the air mattress in the center of the living room. It works when we have an extra couple or a bigger kid, but we end up breaking it down each morning and put it back out at night to keep it from being too cramped. Your choice! Again, just know what you are getting into and take care of the space. Outdoor space: The yard is plenty big enough for the kids to play Frisbee, ride bikes, ride kid gators, play in the sprinkler, etc - when you are not at “THE LAKE” or enjoying any of the many surrounding activities (i.e., parks, hiking, beach, restaurants, etc) of course. There is a BBQ grill in the back for your BBQ pleasure. It requires charcoal. Guest access Access to the cabin will be sent the day of checkin. Please DO NOT under any circumstances drive into the side or backyard. There are two septic tanks in the yard. Driving back there could damage the tanks or your vehicle/boat if the weight is too much. This could result in 1000's of dollars of damage. Please adhere to this rule. Breaking this rule could result in termination of our agreement, an insurance claim, or damage deposit collection.
